I came in cuz I got a code when I tested for emissions, he was very rude and didn't even want to check the code even though they have on the paper hes someone to go see to help pass inspections. So he looked it up saying let's see if I'll even entertain this. Told me it was an internal engine problem said its gonna cost me thousands. I called valasquez muffler and brakes in mchenry told them the code they told me get an oil change and I'll pass emissions so I did and guess what!? I passed emissions today and it didn't cost me thousands and thousands like he said just an oil change. Seems very scammy to me. Just call valasquez in mchenry they obviously know more and are better suited to handle things like basic emissions help.

I have used Ron's Service a few times, but not as much as I should have. They are thorough, affordable and most important to me - honest. No exaggerated estimates, un-needed replacements or excessive charges. They find a problem and fix it or do the work that you request quickly, the right way and affordably. I trust them. They recently found an annoying noise under the car during an alignment that another shop mis-diagnosed and caused replacement of parts that I didn't need. Ron's found that a loose nut was the culprit, fixed it and I was on my way. I highly recommend Ron's for any and all auto repairs and maintenance!

They were very to the point and straight foward, no BS. They were fast and even changed a few tail light bulbs at no charge and came out lower than they quoted on the repair. There is also a lifetime warranty on my part. 100% recommend if you are looking for your "home town" shop.
