I had purchased or leased more than a dozen cars through Brilliance. Had felt they were trustworthy until two years ago when service dept attempted to rip us off. My daughter Came in for a parts recall and was told the air conditioner would also need a new compressor at the cost of over 1000 dollars. I showed up and they seemed more nervous when I said I was taking the car. They claimed the small leak was there and showed a bogus photo which I never asked to see. Took it to a good mechanic and he said no leak. More than two years later and no leak. I called and reported this to the service manager through phone and email. And let the salesmen know every time they called to pitch a deal. Guess what they have never reached out! Not once to say they took care of it or the person who was dishonest. This makes me believe it’s systemic. Avoid this place!!!!!!!

Posted our vehicle for sale online for 12k. This dealership expressed interest in purchasing the vehicle, while having a complete history of the vehicle. Brought it in and they offered 9k. I found this offer offensive and a giant waste of time for everyone involved. The price was listed at 12k firm. Don't bother trying to sell your car here.
View on GoogleA month or two ago, I had service done on my 2017 Pilot, and immediately after driving away, a sensor issue appeared. I reached out right away by text and followed up with several messages over the next three weeks but received no response. When I finally reached someone who could assist, I was told the new sensor problem was a coincidence and that I would need to pay a few hundred dollars for additional diagnostics, even though the issue began only after the recent service. My communication with Brilliance Honda of Crystal Lake was excellent prior to the service but disappointing afterward. If a new issue appeared following the work performed, it should have been identified and communicated to me before returning the vehicle. The sensor problem was clearly visible on the dashboard, and I believe the dealership should take responsibility for any issues that arise while my vehicle is in their care.

View on GoogleThe mechanics and service department are always amazing except for the girls at the counter inside the service department the one there on 8/28 was unprofessional and laughed when I asked her if they had any available appointments and wasn’t helpful in anyway just kept laughing and saying no. I have been a customer for many years and am now going somewhere else because of that girl. Please hire better secretaries
