Someone suggested this place to take my car. I dropped my car off to get two things done. When it was time to pick it up my bill was over $1,200. Got in my car and it wouldn't start. I was asked to leave it to see why it wouldn't start. After waiting a couple of weeks with no one calling me letting me know what's going on i had to call and check on the status of my car. When it was finally finished I was out of another $1,200. After getting my car back it was actually running worse then when I first dropped it off. So im out of over $2,400 and still had to take it to another shop. I took it to Rite price auto and they took their time and fixed it the correct way, I paid $1,400 and it's running like it should have been the first time. The owner was a nice guy except they did really bad work waisting my money on them guessing on what might have been wrong charging me and still didn't get it right.

View on GoogleHad my car towed to this establishment on 3/10/2025; This shop said that I needed an alternator, throttle body, gasket, programming and battery; Cost, over $1600. I told him I didn't have that kind of money just in case car shield did not cover the cost. I proceeded to tell him that I was going to have the car picked up and what did I owe him? He then went on to say that he was going to help me out; he'll leave off the throttle body, the gasket and the charge would be $900! How can you leave off what you say the car needs? In the meantime, I had spoken to my regular mechanic located in Itasca and he immediately doubted the need for a throttle body etc.; He said to bring the car to him and he would charge me $390 to replace the alternator. He is an engineer and mechanic as well and people come to him from surrounding states because HE IS FAIR, DOES EXCELLENT WORK AND IS NOT OUT TO BEAT YOU! I should have gone there in the first place but instead I listened to someone else because Quiroz was closer to me. In the meantime, Quiroz charged A $100 diagnostic fee (which I didn't have a problem with) and $50 FOR SUPPOSEDLY TALKING TO CAR SHIELD FOR AN HOUR (sounds preposterous). REGARDLESS, HOW DO YOU CHARGE $50 FOR A PHONE CALL? I'm out of $150 and I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! #donottrustthem
