Pro Wheels Tires

My experience at Pro Wheels, went fantastic! I came in for some tires for my Nissan Rogue before heading out on a road trip. Fast, friendly, and honest service. The quality of the used tires were in great condition. They didn't try to oversell me, they installed tires needed with no hassle nor issue and got me back on the road in no time. Highly recommend and will be going back due to their quality service.

I am writing this review to warn others about a very serious safety issue caused by this tire shop. Two months ago, I purchased and had new Continental tires installed here. I sent my brother to drop off my vehicle, and he paid in full for the tires, installation, and balancing. The first issue I noticed when the car got home was that all four tires were approximately 8 PSI over/under the recommended pressure. For modern all-wheel-drive vehicles, this is unacceptable and potentially damaging. I corrected the tire pressures myself and decided to let it go. However, one month later, while replacing my front and rear brakes (I am a mechanic with over 15 years of experience and handle all my own vehicle work except tires — for reasons exactly like this), I discovered something shocking. When I removed the rear left wheel, I noticed one lug bolt was completely missing. After removing the remaining bolts, I found that one bolt had been cross-threaded and forced in with an impact gun, completely destroying the threads on the wheel hub. My vehicle is a 2022 BMW X5 M50i producing 530 horsepower. It is a heavy SUV with extremely strong braking force. I drive responsibly but also enjoy spirited driving and occasionally perform hard braking. Now imagine this: I was effectively driving on only THREE properly secured lug bolts out of five because of this shop’s negligence. My life — and the lives of everyone else on the road — were put at risk. When I realized what had happened, I genuinely felt sick. I maintain my vehicles in perfect mechanical condition at all times. They are always 100% technically sound. But thanks to this tire shop, my vehicle was nowhere near safe. Because of the damaged threads, I had to replace the entire rear wheel hub assembly (which includes the bearing) and purchase two new lug bolts. The parts alone cost me around $1,000, and I spent 4 hours repairing the damage caused by their careless work. This level of negligence is unacceptable and dangerous. Think very carefully before trusting this place with your vehicle. I gave them my trust — and they put my life at risk. I will never return here again, not even to put air in a tire. Avoid this place if you value your safety.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I ended up at Pro Wheels on Ogden after getting a screw in my tire. To make things more complicated, I had a lug nut lock on the wheel and didn't have the key. For a small upcharge, they were able to remove the lock without any issues and take care of the tire. The service was unbelievably fast—I was in and out in 15 minutes flat. As an awesome bonus, they have a super cute shop cat hanging around. Great spot, highly recommend! — Jason Quaglia

In the area, this shop stands out as the best tire shop, thanks to its very helpful employees. The front desk staff, particularly the ladies, are super friendly, and Gustavo's work on my alignment was impressive.

I’ve been coming to this place for over 6 years, and the previous staff were always friendly and respectful. Today I went in to buy a new tire, and the employee Gustavo assumed I didn’t speak Spanish and tried to overcharge me. Once I responded in Spanish, his attitude became rude and dismissive. Extremely disappointed—this experience ensured I won’t be returning. 👎🏻
