Happy I found this place after getting screwed by the mechanic shop down the street (Windy City muffler and breaks 👎). Jr. and his crew at tramcar did solid work fixing my Rear main seal. Best customer service I’ve experienced at a shop. Clear communication, timely, fair price, and over all attentive. Even my dog Luna had a great time there. lol

View on GoogleI can’t recommend Tramcar Transmission enough. I brought in my 2014 Silverado 1500, and they treated the entire process like a high-end doctor’s visit. They didn’t just look at the transmission; they did a full "health check" and kept me informed on every single item that needed action. These Silverados are known for having transmission quirks, and the team here diagnosed mine perfectly. But they went above and beyond the transmission—they noticed a broken bolt in the engine bay and a part that had come loose. It was seconds away from hitting the serpentine belt, which would have left me stranded. They re-secured everything and fixed the bolt without hesitation. They are incredibly informative and never rush you. They walked me through the entire process, and the truck now runs smooth as silk with zero issues. To top it off, their pricing is beyond fair—you truly can’t beat it. If you want the best for your vehicle, take it here.

Their attention to detail was impressive, and they (Jr) kept me informed every step of the way with clear, honest, and transparent communication. The quality of the repair work was top-notch — they addressed all the issues thoroughly and got my vehicle running perfectly again. Seriously the car is driving like brand new.
