Can't recommend this place enough! Was waiting for another place to open, and when they didnt I started calling around. This was the only place that actually answered, the person who answered was really helpful and the service was so fast even though they were busy. They also take cash and card which was very convenient.
View on GoogleI am leaving this review because a member of my family was recorded without their consent by someone wearing video recording glasses that did not show it was being recorded while inside this business, and the video was later posted online. Illinois is a two-party consent state for recording private conversations under the Illinois Eavesdropping Act (720 ILCS 5/14-2). My family member did not consent to being recorded. The law is specific when it comes to anything involving audio. We have requested that the video be removed and hope the business takes this privacy concern seriously and addresses the situation appropriately. Additionally, the business advertises one price for services but then adds additional charges afterward, which can be misleading for customers. Transparency in pricing and respect for customer privacy are both very important. Update: Thank you for your timely response. We are also glad to hear that the video has been removed and we appreciate that action being taken. That said, the person who made the recording was inside the establishment and connected to the service that was being provided at that moment, which is why we believe the situation is also a responsibility related to the business. Additionally, the profile where the video was posted contained several videos related to the tire shop, which is why it was reasonable for us to direct our concern to the business. We also believe it would be helpful for customers if all service costs are explained clearly from the beginning to avoid confusion about prices or additional charges. We hope that in the future steps will be taken to protect the privacy of customers. Our only intention was for our family member’s privacy to be respected and for the situation to be resolved in a respectful manner. We are sharing this simply so that other customers are informed and so similar situations do not happen again. We would also appreciate the business reinforcing with its staff the importance of respecting customer privacy.
