I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this place. Armando Jr. + Armando Sr. are some of the most honest & hardworking people around. I first found them after my catalytic converter was stolen. After being quoted well over $1,000 elsewhere, they gave me the most fair and reasonable quote by far and had my car fixed in less than a day. Since then, they’ve helped me through what has honestly felt like every possible car issue imaginable...regular maintenance, battery replacement, replacing broken rear light glass, and countless moments where I just needed guidance and somebody trustworthy. What stands out most is their integrity and willingness to go above and beyond for people. At one point, Armando Sr. literally came to my apartment to replace my battery so I wouldn’t have to tow my car. Another time, Armando Jr. personally took my car to an electrician for me because he knew I was anxious about it breaking down on the way. That kind of care is so rare. You can tell this is a family business built on skill & treating people the right way. They never make you feel taken advantage of or pressured, and they explain things in a way that actually makes sense. Armando is amazing! I have a 1980 Corvette that I have him take care of in service when needed and I had gotten a new battery last year, but it died and he was able to get this covered under warranty since it had been less than a year. Not only do we take our personal cars there but we take our work vehicles there as well and he And his team always do a top-notch job! Mechanics you can TRUST!!

Got my catalytic converter stolen from my Prius and Armando was able to replace it within the same day. Great communication and very quick turn around time. Very grateful for their work and the costs were much lower than elsewhere. Highly recommend!

Honest. Direct. Helpful. Armando Jr. and Sr. earned my trust today. Brought my car in to inspect a supposed exhaust issue, after receiving a speculative diagnostic and quote from another location. Fully intending to shop the quote around for the best price, what I instead found was an invaluable service provider whom I would recommend to all. After a thorough examination of the car, they determined that there was no issue with the exhaust system/HVAC that required work they would recommend providing in house. Armando Jr. went further to recommend another business if we felt there was another level to inspection that we wanted to conduct with my vehicle, but stated there was no critical or pressing maintenance needed that required attention. Their forthright attitude and overall willingness to help when no clear solution was apparent, combined with their approachable attitude and honesty was a refreshing experience when managing my car’s maintenance. They’ve earned a customer for life in me and I suggest you stop by when that check engine light goes on or you hear a suspicious rattle after hitting another Chicago pothole.

It’s a small, family-run business, just a father and son, but don’t let that fool you. Their professionalism and knowledge are top-notch. The quality of work they did on my car was excellent, and they took the time to walk me through what needed to be done. What I really appreciated was that they gave me clear recommendations and even multiple options based on what I was looking for. No pressure, just honest advice. Best of all, their pricing is way more reasonable than any car dealership I’ve been to. You can tell they care more about helping people than upselling.
