I was convinced my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee needed a new engine after THREE other auto shops told me it would cost over $10,000 because the oil and coolant were mixing. I literally stopped driving my car for two months and kept calling it “the sick and shut-in.” I even joked that my Jeep needed to be added to everybody’s prayer list! After researching highly rated shops and seeing all the great reviews for Milito's Auto Repair, I decided to have my Jeep towed there from the South Side of Chicago by AAA. Best decision I could have made. JJ (Juan) took the time to explain everything clearly and honestly. Instead of pushing an expensive engine replacement, they properly diagnosed the issue and serviced the vehicle. I picked up my Jeep today and the engine is running QUIET, smooth, and better than it has in months. To test it out, I drove from Starbucks at 99th & Western back home to Auburn Gresham, then to work in Greater Grand Crossing, then all the way to Homewood, IL, and back home with absolutely no issues. That peace of mind is priceless. Excellent customer service, honest mechanics, fair pricing, and professionalism from start to finish. Milito's Auto Repair definitely has a new loyal customer for life. Highly recommend!

I have recently started going here since I work nearby, and it’s been a very pleasant experience! They’re always helpful, reliable, communicative, and kind. Every time I’ve needed something fixed, they’ve been able to get me in either the same day or the next day, and they’re very accurate with their time estimates as well. Since I don’t live close, I usually wait at nearby restaurants, so I really appreciate not being stuck waiting longer than expected. They even cleaned my car after a tire repair, which was a very nice surprise since she was dirty lol. Highly recommend!

Up until today, I would’ve given this place a five star rating. When I was in a better financial position, I would bring my old suv here and get it cleaned and detailed. When I first moved to Chicago I was told that this was a full service shop and when I tried to tip, tips were refused. Recently before I changed vehicles I had a tire that wouldn’t hold air. One person there (the attendant from this morning) told me that they couldn’t find an issue with the tire. I didn’t have money to replace it, especially since they said they couldn’t find a hole. A few weeks later, somebody else took a look at the tire, found an small leak, and they were able to get it patched up. This morning I went there with my newer vehicle. The air pressure changes due to the cold left one of them low. The attendant who filled up my air acted nice at first. However, after he put the air in my tire he asked me why I never tipped him. I explained to him that I don’t keep any cash on me and that I’m having some personal circumstances that don’t really allow for that. He told me my personal circumstances weren’t his problem. He told me that his fingers were cold and that he was shaking. Then he told me that unless I was going to tip him, I needed to go to a different shop to get air in my tire. I have a handicap sticker and shared my concern with my physical ability to put air in my tires. He said that was also not his problem, and I needed to pay him to get air. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because when I called to get the attendance name, I was able to speak with the service manager, JayJay! JayJay was beyond pleasant and was very apologetic On behalf of the shop. JayJay confirmed my previous understanding that attendants are compensated well. He did, however, clarify that although some people deny tips, it is allowed, but never required. How this particular service person treated me was terrible. This morning was very souring experience. For years, I’ve encouraged people to go to this shop and have their vehicles detailed because everyone is so kind and respectful. I’m considering placing calls and sending text messages and encouraging them to not go back.

Excellent workmanship and honesty! I brought my BMW in for a full detail - the crew did an outstanding job and even got it done a little early! I can't recommend Milito's enough!

Excellent service, but I disagree with the assessment that one of my license plate lights wasn't working. I went to the shop, and they told me I would probably have to buy the part, and they would have to remove the old part from my car and fix the electrical system. The total cost for the service was $150, and I would have to order the part from Amazon. I decided to try fixing it myself since I have some basic knowledge. It took me a while, but I replaced the bulb and only spent $30. I think they could have offered better service or at least looked at the problem more closely and given me a better option.
