Spent $2500 on a rebuilt transmission. Car started going backwards on an exit ramp. Called them about it, and was told to bring it back up there. Second time I went back up there and got my car back, my transmission was leaking fluid, and overheating badly. Took it back up there and my car is having the same issues it had when I first took it up there. I also had then put O2 sensors in my car, and my check engine light came right back on. This has been going on since August. I'm tired.

Don’t do business here I REPEAT dont do business here! Couple months ago I went here and got my transmission rebuilt for $2500 within 30days the transmission had the same codes it had when I took it in to get fixed now it was still under warranty they have 3 month warranty on the rebuild trans. So when I took it back and they claimed they had put a new one in and that I needed to go get an transmission mount and some wiring Harnish they never gave me the name of the wiring that need it be replaced ok but that wasn’t the case the transmission was leaking fluid and it was over heating I paid 2500 for service and now 5 months later the transmission have the same codes on it it had when I took it in now when he said he put a new trans in he didn’t give me any paper work that stated he had put a new transmission in so now Im going up there Monday morning with my father to discuss a solution. Workers are rude and very unprofessional!

We we're having transmission issues with our van, and my husband tried taking it to multiple places including two Ford dealerships, where he was told they wouldn't be able to even get it in for a few days and that it would take about a week. Unable to wait that long, he found J&J and took our van there. We had a wonderful experience with J&J. They took the van that day and had it done by the next morning, and our van is running so smoothly with no problems. Their customer service was also excellent, treating my husband with importance and care as they learned about the issues our car was having. And it is conveniently located for us in North Lawndale. We will no longer be looking far away for issues like this with our car. Support this local business! You won't regret it.

Do not do any business here.!!!!! EVER!!! Horrible customer service and their work is really shady. I put a rebuilt transmission in my sons van here and it went bad in 3 months. I brought it back and got the run around for 2 weeks while it sat in front parked on the street with no work being performed by them.I ended up towing it away to another shop to cut ties with these unprofessional guys and Horrible business practices. Do not come here!!!
