I was referred to this shop and couldn’t be happier I found it. I took my son’s Hyundai Tucson the other day for some engine issues and Carlos took care of it for me. Wow, needed a few things done on my car and took it to my local Palatine shop. WHAT? $800 just for the one seemingly small issue. My brother lives in Chicago and said come on over to the shop near his place, Howard Auto. “Carlos will take care of you.” And that’s exactly what Carlos did. Several things were done and all for less than the quote for the single repair. These folks are honest, friendly, personable, and very skilled. My car runs perfect now. This place is so good that it’s on our list of reasons to never move away from Evanston. My grandfather was a car mechanic and used to treat people this way, taking the right care to make sure everything is right, fair pricing, quick service, excellent communication, commitment to making sure the job gets done right. I suspect he would’ve enjoyed working here.
