I have been coming to Frank’s Auto for almost 2 decades, even and especially through the change of ownership. Congrats to both Frank and Mike. Still, we all know…Giles has been running the show for as long as I’ve been coming. The way he manages that desk is artful. I have moved 3 times, each further away, but I will travel the distance to get it done right. When you find a good mechanic shop, you come back.

Took my car for an oil change known them for years, not to long after my car started smelling like fumes I had to pull over and my tire was burning and my hubcap melted off, there was smoke coming out from my car, I took it to my brother in laws mechanic and he said the oil was black and looked like I hadn't gotten the oil changed for a while. It was messing up my brakes and could have burnt out the motor. I had to pay 300 to get this fixed because someone gave me a faulty oil change. This is not the only had experience I've had here they charged me thousands to fix something that never got fixed and told me it was fine. Will never return here, scammers and over charge way to much.

The shop provided quality work but I know for a fact I was overcharged for the work done on my vehicle. When I ran the numbers with other shops, they all asked me why I paid so much for a job they would’ve done for $500-600 less. They also misdiagnosed one of my check engine lights. Tried to tell me it was something minor after I told them my battery light and check engine light turned on which was signaling to the alternator but they though it was something else. A day later my car died and I had to take it somewhere else. But the check engine light was “minor”. Cute. I don’t want to make this seem like I’m complaining about the price because I DID agree to pay it but it’s disappointing when you find out the real value of the job AFTER you paid. I’d advise anyone to get quoted at other places before agreeing to overpay when they notice your knowledge gaps.
