EK does amazing work. I've been taking my cars there for a couple of years and I have found them to be professional, trustworthy and affordable. And the mechanics are excellent! I recently took my car in to have the front brakes replaced. Remy called to tell me the car was done, but that I had a leak in the coolant line. I had taken my car to the Audi dealer 3 times because the engine light kept coming on and they just replaced sensors. EK found the actual problem when they weren't even looking for a problem. I highly recommend them!

We bought an older Ford SUV. Remy, Marshall and the techs at Ek have always been honest when servicing our vehicle. They have been our mechanics for my husband and I for over 10 years now. As another reviewer said on here Ek is honest. They never tell you that your car needs more work than it does. For a couple like my husband and I that know nothing about vehicles that matters. We do know from taking it elsewhere(that one time) that Ek is honest and their work stands up and holds up. What was not corrected at the other place was corrected ASAP and done the right way at Ek. We also were caught in a bind in the pouring rain the last time our car had to be towed when our Ford gave out. Remy and Marshall made sure we got home since we were left without a vehicle. Thank you. And our Ford was serviced and picked up the next day as good as new. Well, as good as can be for a 10.5 year old car. We have gotten everything from oil changes to brakes from Ek and our car returns in wonderful condition. The work is detailed out on paper for you and explained. Remy updates you on what the vehicle needs and the cost before the work is done. You can drop your car off the night before if you have to or early morning for convenience. The shop itself is clean and even has a cool vibe. Side note the owner is an artist as well as very knowledgeable about cars. I am so confident in Ek Auto's work that I believe their work will help us keep our car for a good while longer. With times being the way they are financially we want to keep our car for as long as possible and thanks to Ek Auto that is possible. You all are the best there is. Thanks to all of you over there.

So happy I found this shop. They were recommended and did not disappoint. Great to work with. My car was 25 years old and they got me up and running. My husband brought his suburban there now too for help. Highly recommend!

I have been going to EK ever since moving to Chicago six years ago. I had a break emergency and they took me in even though they were closed, since then I have been a loyal customer even though I have moved further away from the shop I still pass plenty of places to get to them because they really do care. Also, the shop is the coolest shop I've been to or seen.
