Absolutely incredible experience here. I will forever bring my business here when im in the chicago area. So I cracked a wheel tuesday night.(I live 3 hours away) Leaking air really bad had to air it up every half hour. In Chicago.... I scrambled looking for a wheel on facebook. Being AWD you cant just put a regular wheel on these it has to be similar to what the others are so it doesnt throw the car off balance. So LUCKILY I found ONE rear wheel 20 mins from me in Chicago and the seller delivered me the rim at 1AM... lol! Called around to numerous places and said since I had 22s on the car now my spare 20in rim I bought wont work.. I called around to a few rim repair places but all told me im out of luck and no one can do it today. Or it will be a 2 day job blah blah blah I mentioned this shops name a few times to others and all said "ooh thats in the hood" or "I wouldnt go over there its rough area...." naturally being from the hood that didnt phase me one bit just made me want to go there even more since other places talked down on the area. I call this rim shop in Cicero and the owner on the phone was extremely polite gave me multiple options and worse case scenario options. We pulled up 3 guys came out to help and insisted we sat inside where it was warm while they handled it. My rim had 3 Cracks in it and they were not comfortable giving me a weld that will hold to get me home. And trust it! Plus it would be $300+ to weld and may not hold..The owner did some math to give me a tire on the 20 in rim to match same size and width as the other 22 so it kept the car in balance. He tried one new tire and it didnt work so he pulled that tire off and tried another one until he got it right! Charged me $70 for a used tire and got me on the road. I drove 3 hours home and had ZERO issues! Much love and respect to this company for being honest, straight up, professional and all around genuine people! I got better service here then ALL the big name stores we called! This is why the big box stores are hurting because you got small HONEST shops treating people the way they should be treated and not just another number or client! You can keep them fancy stores that dont remember your name when you pick up your car. Ill Gladly go to the "Hood" and get top notch service! THANK YOU CHITOWN CUSTOMS!!! LOVE💪
