Cassidy Tire and Service

Jovan did an amazing job servicing my 2004 Toyota Avalon for a nail in my tire. He wasted no time and all my tire needed was a patch, no need for a replacement tire. I highly recommend Cassidy Tire & Service for their punctuality and fantastic customer service. I was not left waiting for hours and Jovan was upfront about pricing. This was such a great option for my salary.

INSANE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! OUT TO GET YOUR MONEY EVEN IF IT MEANS TAKING YOUR SPARE TO TRY TO GET THAT SALE! experienced a pothole incident which resulted in a dented rim.I brought my vehicle to the Diversey location as it was the closest available shop. I was informed that an estimate could not be provided immediately and that my car would need to remain there until it could be assessed, understandable. Later that afternoon, I received a quote for the repair. Due to the estimated turnaround time of up to a week, I decided not to proceed and instead planned to take the vehicle to my regular mechanic closer to my home, who could complete the work within two days. I contacted the shop and asked if my spare tire could be installed so I could safely drive the distance to my mechanic. I was then informed over the phone that my vehicle did not come a spare tire. I was immediately surprised by this, as I know for a fact that my car DID include a spare tire and I was familiar with its exact location. When I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, I raised the question again. A mechanic showed me the compartment and stated that only a round metal component was present and that there was no spare tire. Although confused, I did not press the issue further at the time. I immediately began to hear a loud “thud” from the trunk area whenever I turned,stopped or went over a speed hump. This noise had NEVER occurred prior to this visit. After further Investigation, it became clear that the sound was coming from the area where the spare tire should be stored, which renewed my concern. Given the timing, the fact that my vehicle was in Cassidy’s possession, and that the absence of a spare tire could reasonably cause a customer to feel unsafe driving elsewhere for service, this situation raises serious concern for me. I believe the spare tire may have been removed by someone at Cassidy, particularly as doing so could create pressure for a customer to proceed with repairs on site and not go anywhere else I decided to contact corporate to resolve this, but instead of taking responsibility, they argued with me and claimed that my Mercedes model doesn’t come with a spare tire. That’s completely false — I’ve seen my spare countless times and even used that compartment regularly to store items safely. Even if I hadn’t seen it, why would Mercedes design a space specifically for a spare and include a holder if the car wasn’t meant to have one? Yet alone now that holder rattling around and bouncing all over the place as a drive all of a sudden!! After endless back-and-forth, they finally said they would “source a spare from a junkyard,” which was unprofessional and ridiculous. Weeks went by with no update, and they ultimately couldn’t find one, offering me only $100 in compensation I asked them if they can just source me the tire and they said they couldn’t find any (maybe look in your shop) . Completely unacceptable. I do not recommend this location and I am still waiting for that $100 I attached the photo of where the spare was and the metal holder now rattling around. LOL imagine Mercedes making this spare compartment only to not include the spare…… I even gave them the dimensions of the spare that was on the door to help them source one.

Had a great experience today at Cassidy. Went in with an appointment for a service I thought my car needed. They offered to check things before providing the service to see if it was really even necessary, and it wasn’t. Really appreciated their transparency even though it no meant no business from me that day! Will definitely be back !

I purchased a new set of tires here about a year ago after an emergency flat. The manager helped me a lot by price matching so I could buy all four new tires. I went back recently because my rear passenger tire had a slow leak. Cassidy fixed it quickly and their notification system includes pictures with the diagnosis, which is cool. I've had nothing but great service here!

I got new tires a week ago, so I went to Cassidy Tires for an alignment. They refused to provide a print-out of the alignment (although I told them beforehand I need one), and I immediately noticed that the car is suddenly pulling to the right. A problem I never encountered with it. I Came back the next day to complain, they forced me to do a 30 minute test drive and tried to gaslight me that the car was fine. Finally they agreed to refund me and I went to another shop (which was also cheaper btw). I attached the results of their alignment, 5 days after the Cassidy Tires alignment. edit: for those wondering, no one contacted me after posting this.
