Dishonest and Unreliable - Don't Go Here I went to Amerimex Mufflers and Brakes believing they were a reliable shop, but my experience was incredibly frustrating and expensive. The person at the front desk completely tricked me into buying a service I didn't need. I clearly explained that I believed the issue with my car was a stuck catalytic converter. However, she insisted that I needed a new flex pipe, which cost me a total of $280 for parts and labor. I reluctantly paid for it, but as I suspected, nothing changed with my car's performance. On top of that, two lights came on that were never there before: the VSC and TRAC OFF lights. I then took my car to another, more trustworthy shop. They confirmed my original diagnosis and told me that my original flex pipe was perfectly fine. They had to remove the unnecessary part that Amerimex installed just to get to the real problem—the catalytic converter. This shop is full of con artists and thieves. They will lie to you and sell you parts you don't need, ignoring the actual problem. Please, save yourself the money and the headache and go somewhere else.

I went like 4 months ago for an antifreeze leakage and it’s still leaking. They only gave 1 month warranty so I couldn't do anything about it. I think it was 350 for them to “fix it” You were never told because it was too late, I was told 1 month but either way it was 4 months later that I noticed it being low. I never open the hood and when I did to add windshield fluid, I saw the coolant was low. I didnt bother because just as you said now it’s expired. Its been 4 months how can another leak appear lol it has been the same one.

Was referred to this place by a trusted friend and was super excited to get my service done although was a bit nervous as I’ve never been here before and thought it would be best to call beforehand to get a few questions and concerns I had out the way before I arrived! I called the establishment multiple times about every little question before I decided to come to this location as it is extremely out the way from my home. I was quoted over the phone for the service and agreed that was a fair price although before committing asked if I needed my physical card or if the could accept a photo of my card before arriving if not so I can make a stop home as I was coming directly from work in the opposite direction; I was told a photo would be enough and hurried on my way as they had availability to see me immediately. I patiently waited 2 hours when quoted service time would approximately be one hour. When the service was finally complete I was super excited and thrilled to have my car back and eagerly waited to have my card information processed and be on my way, yet, in that moment was told unfortunately they won’t be able to accept a photo of my card and needed the physical card after being told repeatedly I didn’t before arrival. Then I asked to speak to a manager and was met with much resistance before I could finally get in contact with one; consistently being asked, “what do you need to speak with a manager for?” I then explained to the manager the situation and he said without the physical card he cannot move forward with my payment and I asked ok, how can you help me in this situation? Reimbursement for an uber to and from my home to get the physical card would be approximately 80$ so I thought a discount to help alleviate the trouble they have put me under in relation to my time going back and forth now, the extra money I had to use to get to and from now as they held my car until they got payment, and the overwhelming stress they put me in after misleading and offering me false information before service. They unfortunately to my surprise said they can’t offer me anything and cannot and will not help me with anything. Definitely do not plan to ever come back and would strongly advise anyone to seek assistance somewhere else as I could only imagine if they’re offering false information over the phone what other information are they willing to lie about? Also being unprofessional on top of that and unwilling to help clientele in stressful situations the establishment could have avoided If offered correct information over the phone.
