I was recommended this place by my grandfather, my a/c unit wasn’t blowing cold air and had no power steering. I was curious to see what they would come up with and would charge, after getting the diagnosis, the bill was absolutely ridiculous. I should’ve known they were hurting for money because the owner had stated when initially meeting him and dropping off the truck before the diagnosis, that they hadn’t had power for 4-5 days due to the storm. They stated I needed a new a/c compressor and condenser, due to it being locked up, which I knew I didn’t, because I had just had freon added last summer and it leaked out. They also stated I needed a A reckon pinion and a power steering pump, which everything totaled out to be $2700. I soon picked up my truck the following day, paid for the diagnostic and proceeded to “try and drive back home” WRONG. My truck did not accelerate, I had several lights on my dash and was furious. I drove my truck there with confidence hoping they would fix or repair any leaks that were found. Instead they created new problems that I once didn’t have before them doing a “diagnosis”. When I told the OWNER that my truck didn’t accelerate and I didn’t have this problem upon arrival, he stated that they did nothing wrong which couldn’t be true because I DROVE MY TRUCK THERE, I HAD NO LIGHTS ON MY DASH. He told me that he couldn’t do nothing and to call a tow truck. I was furious that I trusted this so called company called clutch brothers, they should be called CROOK BROTHERS. I felt so confused and left uncertain as of what to do as I was pushed to the wolves with new problems I didn’t create.. I HIGHLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.. even if your car breaks down in front of this establishment, I would push my car to the next auto mechanic shop because this one isn’t it. RUN DONT WALK.

I have been going to Mark at Crutch Brothers for 14 years now. The service and pricing are great. Their location is outside the 12 mile tow range that my insurance covers but I am willing to pay the 3 mile difference because I know the quality service and pricing is worth it.

As much as I wanted to love this place I wish I was never told about them. I went to get brake service as Firestone said I needed front pads and rotors. I didn’t get a good vibe from the owner and now I know why. When I called back within 30 minutes of the repair saying my brakes were still noisy, he acted aloof and said to give them time. Over a month later and a new visit in which he said he’d replace the parts it’s still noisy. I went to pep boys a few days ago. They informed me that yes the parts are new but he used the cheapest noisiest brakes. Yet when I went there and said my brakes were still noisy he looked at me like he had no clue he used the cheapest noisiest brakes. I’ve never in my time of having my car had squeaky brakes after getting them worked on until I went to this place. The shop operates on a first come first serve rule. Ok cool but when your work I paid for is faulty you need to find a time to fix it. I did go in one day prior to the replacement maybe around 10 am and was told he had nowhere to put my car to check the brakes. Considering their roof is busted and I had to sit in a wet waiting area as he did the replacement you’d think he’d be decent and actually use good parts seeing as though he was not asked to use cheap parts. Paid this shop to fix my brakes and they’re still not right. I guess they are only loyal to their old customers not new ones bringing in new business. I’d never spend money here again nor refer them to anyone. Completely unhappy with the visit.

Did a great job on my son car and mine . Just Little too expensive, but will work with you.
