Great shop, Alfred is a very good guy, warm, professional, and straight. I had my truck got repaired here because they are on the list of my insurance company, at first I was a little worried, but it turned out they are a really great body shop. Alfred was showing care and good communication with me, he would text me pictures about progress everyday, and eventually the outcome is much better than I expected. I would come back for body problems and recommend them to my friends, only this time for their reputation but insurance company

This is an amazing shop. Alfred is an honest person and will tell you as it is. Even though they were very busy, I was glad they made time for me and fixed my truck in 7 hours; something another shop couldn’t do. AVP mechanics are experienced mechanics and not the rookie mechanics you will find in other shops. By far AVP is the best shop in Blue Island, Illinois. Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you bring your truck to AVP. If I am in the area, I will always bring my truck to AVP. Thank you Alfred and AVP Mechanics!!!

No people skills. Came in to get an estimate the guy in the office didn’t even say hi just said $150 just to make an estimate that’s ridiculous. It was probably going to be at least a $5000 repair but they’re thirsty for money so they’ll charge $150 only to look at your truck which is stupid I’m glad I didn’t go fix truck with them
