Costco Tire Service Center

I handed over pristine rims for a tire swap and received them back with damage. The gouges are located in the gap between the rim and tire—consistent with mounting machinery, not curb rash. No one mentioned the damage; I discovered it myself two days later. ​The real issue is the rigged claims process. Their "neutral" third-party insurer denied my claim because Costco’s technicians denied fault and the grainy CCTV didn't capture the exact moment of impact. Essentially, unless you have high-definition video of the scratch occurring, they default to "no fault" and protect their own. ​Costco damaged my property, hid it, and used a biased system to dodge accountability. Take photos with a manager before service or go elsewhere. Would be a 1 star review if their prices weren't so good.

After waiting 1.5 hrs for the tire installation, with an appointment, went to check in, no one at the front desk, having a good time chat in the back, I could hear them, finally, someone came up and ask if I needed help, the car had been ready, who knows how long? They never called, like they said they would. Not a very good experience. Just got 4 tires installed, drove away and my sensors got activated, not enough air on the new tires!!! How do you install new tires and don’t check the right amount of air???? Had to go back before we left the parking lot. Told them about it, They said they fixed them, they didn’t. I drove away, the sensors still say to drive carefully, not enough air. Makes me mental.

Was able to schedule an appointment the very next day for new tires, as they were the only ones near me that had them in stock. They were considerably less than other estimates I had received and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Super nice guys running the shop and discovered the offer free, balancing and rotations if you buy their tires.

Went 6 years ago and had a great experience. Went yesterday and I was met with a bait and switch. Online said the tires were available. Made appointment. Went in.... only 2 tires were available and I was offered tires twice the price. Called Pep boys... they didn't have the tires in store but sent out a driver to pick them up different location. I think Pep Boys is my new tire shop.

I had called ahead and requested a battery be picked and set aside for my wife who would be there in about 30 minutes to pick it up, and the phone call went well enough but it was odd they didn’t ask for a name. My wife arrives and they talk to her like she’s stupid, while making it clear that no battery was set aside like I was told it would be. Being a car battery it’s heavy, so I told her to pull up front and ask them to carry it out for her, but she didn’t because she already felt they were seemingly bothered by her presence. I was in the phone with her giving the battery model and the employee didn’t even walk the ten steps around the corner to pull it off the shelf for her. Another customer that saw her struggling helped her without being asked. Really disappointed, and previously I thought highly of this locations tire center. I hope it was just a disgruntled employee.
