*update* -30 stars. This shop only replies to good reviews because they are full of it!! They offered half off the labor what an insult and joke of a repair shop. I was recommended here by a shop in Cicero. I didn’t have a good experience with this shop. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had with a persistent issue on a simple brake and rotors job that cost almost $2k. My brakes still grind and squeak, I’ve been up to the shop five times and they still haven’t fixed the issue. They only temporarily fix it by putting oil on it or say they don’t know what it is. No support for your inconvenience either. You would think they’d offer a ride back to my job at least. I don’t have the time to keep coming back up to the shop to fix a problem that’s been persistent for almost a year now since I went to them, I would not recommend. The oil change is even expensive. My brakes and rotors are still not fixed properly. They quoted me $1900 for a replacement axle with labor. I went to another shop and had the axle repaired, air filter, and oil change for less than $500. I’ve been to shops that actually care to make sure other underlying conditions are addressed if you don’t recognize a problem.

View on GoogleI visited this place for a cylinder issue with my Land Rover. They couldn’t figure out the issue the first two times. Once they figured that it was possibly a valve issue they recommended that I replace the engine and told me to repair would be as much as an engine replacement. That was a lie. I wish they would’ve said that this was not their expertise so I could’ve went elsewhere. They charged me 2k just to open my engine for something that couldn’t even repair. To make matters worse they didn’t even get to my car until almost three weeks. They quoted me 18k for an engine replacement. After researching I found a shop that offered to do an engine replacement for 10-12k. I wonder why j&s wanted to charge me 6-8k more? Also the shop I went to suggested that I should just get the valve replaced. And I did and it only costed me a fraction of what j&s wanted me to pay. I recommend not going to this shop. They will rip you off and lie to you.
