May 29, 2026 To Whom It May Concern, I would like to take a moment to recognize and commend Joe Milner, the manager at Tuffy’s Auto Service, for the absolutely outstanding customer service he provided to me during my recent visit. When I arrived at Tuffy’s on May 29, 2026, I was extremely upset and overwhelmed regarding ongoing issues with my vehicle. Having already spent over $4,000 on repairs just a month earlier, I was frustrated, worried, and emotionally exhausted at the thought of experiencing additional car trouble. From the moment I met Joe, however, his kindness, patience, and professionalism immediately helped calm my concerns. In a world where exceptional customer service has become increasingly rare, Joe demonstrated a level of compassion and professionalism that truly stood out. He took the time to carefully explain what was happening with my vehicle, answered my questions thoroughly, and reassured me with confidence that he would take care of the issue. Despite the pouring rain outside, Joe ensured that I felt comfortable while waiting and kept me informed throughout the process. Within approximately an hour and a half, I was back on the road with my car driving better than it had in a very long time. What impressed me even more was observing Joe’s interactions with other customers while I waited. Every single person who walked through the door or called on the phone was treated with the same kindness, respect, patience, and genuine care that he showed me. It was evident that Joe takes tremendous pride in both his work and the way he treats people. People are often quick to submit complaints, but I believe it is equally important—if not more important—to recognize individuals who go above and beyond in their roles and make a positive difference in someone’s day. Joe is truly an exemplary employee and an outstanding representative of Tuffy’s Auto Service. I sincerely hope your corporate office recognizes the tremendous value Joe brings to your company. His professionalism, integrity, and compassionate customer service deserve acknowledgment and appreciation. Thank you, Joe, for your kindness and exemplary customer service. It was deeply appreciated and will not be forgotten.

Tuffy has great customer service and friendly staff. I called for a service and was able to be seen as soon as I arrived. Joe ensured that I had an understanding of everything that was being done and was very friendly. I was in and out within 10 minutes and the pricing can’t be beat! Definitely will recommend this location to others and they’ve gained a new customer! Than you for the great service.
View on GoogleMy family has been going to this tuffy since we lived here. My grandpa had 14 cars and would bring them all in over time. We were treated very well by Jason. He never made us feel like we were uneducated. When I got my car in September 2022 they told me it was in the best condition they had ever seen for a car from 2003… and then said that 75% of the car had problems. The car had a new battery when I got it and was overall pretty good for that old of a car. They fixed everything and it was $3000 which is a lot of money for someone who was in high school making $9000 a year. A couple of months go by and I went to start my car in a parking lot to go home and it wouldn’t start. The tow truck was only able to start my car with their jumper cables because normal jumper cables didn’t even work. We brought it in and they told me that my alternator was messed up. They were the only people that had ever fixed my car but they still made me pay for the fix. Jump forward to about a year later and my car won’t start again. It would turn on if jumped with the tow truck jumper cables just like last time. The only problem is that it wouldn’t start without help from a second battery. We brought it in and you can probably figure out what was wrong. The alternator AND my belts were seconds from snapping. They fixed it but again made me pay for it and claimed that it must have come loose. Jump to January of 2025 and my car won’t start at all. We tried jumping it and it just wouldn’t. We ended up getting a second battery attached to it again and were able to get it down the street to the tuffy. They told me that my battery died because I wasn’t driving my car enough, it’s cold outside, and I wasn’t driving it for long enough when I was driving it. I drive my car every day for 50 minutes a day minimum. I didn’t drive it for 1 week and my battery goes from 700 something to 60. They said the battery was the only problem and we asked if the alternator being messed up by them before would have drained the battery that much. They said it’s possible but probably not and doubled down saying it was my fault. 2 days go by and my check engine light comes back on. I didn’t bring it into a shop because I was getting sick of having to pay for the same issue over and over. A few days ago my car was making a screeching noise and I brought it to a different shop. They just told me that my radiator was leaking and broke my thermostat because of the leak. They also told me that whoever fixes my car normally knew about the leak because there was “stop leak” in the radiator. We were never told by anyone at Tuffy that my radiator was leaking. They even said in January that the battery was the only problem and that they checked. I’ve never felt more unsafe in a car after finding out that not only are the people who fix my car not telling me about the problems that the car has, but we were also told that one of the people who was fixing my car was COMING IN TO WORK INTOXICATED. How are you going to tell us about this and then not make sure that the 75% of my car that he fixed is actually fixed. They fixed my wheel alignment because it was supposedly unsafe to drive with how unaligned they were. How can I trust that my car is not going to randomly stop working when they clearly are not fixing very important parts of my car correctly. I wish that Jason would have stayed at Tuffy because then I wouldn’t have to feel unsafe in my “best condition we have ever seen” car. Car information and photos from when it was bought: 48,000 miles when I got it, 61,000 miles now after 2 and a half years. 2003 Chevy blazer that multiple people at multiple repair shops have said is in mint condition with almost no problems. It has very little rusting which I have been told is not causing any issues. Both owners of my car before me kept it in a garage for most of its life so most of the issues it had were related to not being driven, but the dealership we got it from said they fixed all the issues that would have been caused by that.
View on GoogleTook my car in for basic maintenance, the service advisor Garry did a good job letting me know the issues on my car. And the mechanic Adam, was very nice and thorough with the inspection. Price was reasonable and will definitely come back again :)
View on GoogleGreat service. Completed brake change and inspection that identified other issues that need to be taken care of. While they stressed the urgency of one concern, I did not feel pushed or obligated to get the service completed at that time or by them. Will definitely be returning.
