I had a pretty bad experience with mechanic mobile pro’s. I called early on a Tuesday morning to see if they can install an alternator for my 2016 Jeep compass. They got back to me pretty quickly, told me the whole low down of me having to get the alternator myself. When they arrived at 12pm it took almost 6 hours just to finish the job. They actually needed me to pay extra amount of money because they told me the job was taking longer than expected and I agreed. Once they finally finished they told me that my car was good but the battery had died and they would jump it. The car started, I told em to keep it running so maybe it could get some more juice. When I went back to my car 10 min later it was dead… I called them to let them know and they basically just told me, well might be your battery then… but I explained to them that my battery is fine it’s brand new. I told them that before they started the job. Something was done incorrectly. Still today on Thursday, I’ve gotten nothing about them coming back out and maybe finishing the job because something wasn’t done correctly. Ive reached out to them and little to know communication on what they can do for me or how there going to fix this issue. I’ve never used mobile mechanics ever and I probably won’t do it ever again. I lost 600 dollars and I’m hoping I don’t end up having to pay more money or fix it myself. Just an all around terrible experience in a very stressful time. I hope know one else goes through what I went through.
