I typically leave 5-star reviews, and there was a lot to like about my experience here. I chose Duran’s based on their great reputation for service and reasonable pricing. From my initial phone call to bringing my vehicle in the next day, the customer service was excellent. I brought my car in because it was having trouble starting, and I mentioned I suspected the battery or the starter. After a 15-minute test, they confirmed it was a bad battery. While I completely understand and value a mechanic's time, I was disappointed to be charged a $70 diagnostic fee just for a battery test—especially since battery testing is widely offered for free at many nearby shops. Everything else about the visit was great, and I chose not to argue the price at the counter. I do admit I should have asked about potential fees upfront, but $70 for a quick battery check feels a bit too steep. While I appreciate their friendliness, the unexpected cost means I likely won't be returning.

I had a great experience here getting my windshield replaced in their new windshield bay! A small chip, in the span of 12 hours, had spread to the whole width of my windshield on a hot day. I left it like that for way too long, but finally called and was quoted for much less than my insurance deductible. They were so professional and kind to work with, they got me in next day!! Highly reccommend 😊
