Purchased a 1963 Fairland 500 that I was going to restore. Wicked Gypsy gave me a price in Dec. 2024 to repair and primer ready for paint. I made the monthly payments as required by his contract. He notified me of additional rust after removing fenders to sandblast the car and the addition cost. He texts that there was a problem, he had to fire one employee and personal issues. In June 2025 received a text for Wicked Gypsy do not show up without an appointment you would not be seen and charged $85 to your bill. I waited until mid 2025 and went to see what progress had been made on the car. The only progress was sandblasting and sealer. No repair work on the rusted quarter panels or floor pans that I had provided new ones. The addition rust under the fenders was still there which was an additional cost. I started to get the chrome work and notified him I would pick up the front bumper. They had removed the bolts with a grinder and grounded in the bumper. On 23 July I asked for a completion date. He texted back looking at 29 Aug. On 8 Sept I texted him about an exact date and taking penalties for his delay. After several text he gave a date of 21 Nov. On 5 Jan 26asked for another completion date. On 14 Jan showed up for scheduled appointment to take pictures. The car was in a back storage area and had been there awhile. More problems found and price went up. We agreed to the new final price on 27 Feb and new completion date of first week in March 2026. On 7 May text received car would be delivered the next day. May 8 text received car next week. May 19 another deadline missed. May 27 checked car before delivery, problems noted and had to find some missing parts (steering wheel). May 30 car delivered still problems parts missing or broken. His response was it was not there when we picked it up or old cars parts break. If you use this shop take pictures of everything. Right rear tire left on the trailer in tack as his picture shows. The tire was completely destroyed. The pictures provided show some of his work and damaged parts that I have to pay to replace. The red trim I had to purchase because it was missing. The one about it I will try to straighten. The emblems for both sides are broken or missing.

New head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets for a really decent price, I suggested another client who blew their head,,,, gaskets. Pretty quick overall time as well. Ive known Dillan for a few years and always had good business with him in my court. Guy knows im at my end with dollars and hes been really good about keeping costs reasonable in order to suss out the problem. offered payments to get me back in my car because i dont have mountains, sometimes you dont get a life fixing 700 dollar scenario but i do know it fixed A problem. Dillans been good about this and conscientious plus hes always been a fun and kind soul, for years,.

Horrible experience with Dillan. Told me he would apply epoxy primer which I supplied for my pickup. Had it delivered and he first tried to get me to pay $3,400 to do the bodywork and priming. Finally gave me a written quote for $1,610 and took pictures and circled all the areas he agreed to work on and put it all in writing in a quote before priming. Took it to him on Wednesday and it was supposed to be finished Friday. He wanted 50% in advance, which I paid. Called and texted Monday AM to see when my tow company could pick it up. Neither the VM or Text were returned. I finally drove from Nampa to Caldwell to see my truck and see when I could pick it up. He had merely primed over a portion of the bed and had not done any priming on the cab. I paid him an up front deposit of half with the other half upon completion. I asked him to finish what he had quoted in his written quote and he refused and told me to send a tow truck to get my pickup, which I had towed away. Dillan did about 15% of what his written quote and pics indicate he would do. I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND DILLAN for any bodywork or painting. He was not honest with me and he is completely unreliable. Doesn't even have a paint booth, uses a portable cover for painting . His bid shows he was to repair specific areas before priming, which he did not do. BTW...The paint was stripped down to bare metal and Dillan was able to see and run his hand over all the surfaces, prior to sending his quote. His verbal word, his handshake and his written quote meant NOTHING!

I had Dillan do a complete frame off restoration on my 1977 FJ40. No details were missed. It’s the best looking FJ40 in the Treasure Vally.

Had my car body worked and ready to go for primer, sealer and paint. Wanted a darker color paint black or similar, however Dillan showed me some tests with a custom pearl in my black paint in a small sample and I loved it! He has a keen eye for detail and picked a color that exceeded my needs! Would definitely use his service again for a future project! Thanks for taking care of my T/A!
