I got a word-of-mouth referral to Hopkin’s when I was looking for a reputable and trustworthy mechanic to get my 3rd gen Camaro street worthy. HPA did not disappoint! Kerry did fantastic work and both Jimmy and Jamie were professional and knowledgeable. No BS just good honest work.
View on GoogleMy wife had some front bumper work done on her 2015 Lexus RX350 by an auto body shop in Nampa (another review; very dissatisfied overall). The driver's side edge came loose, and we were looking to get it fixed prior to selling the car. We live in Star, so we started with Christian Brothers. They referred us to Caliber Collision in Middleton. I don't think the job was lucrative enough for Caliber, so we were referred to Hopkins High Performance Auto. We came in on a Friday to have the car looked at. Jamie was very nice and took a look, speculating that it just needed a screw to be replaced to secure the bumper. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and we make an appointment to bring the car in today, Monday(also President's Day). We showed up just before 8. Jamie wasn't there, but Jimmy was. He did not seem to have any record of an appointment for us or any notes on our car, which was a little concerning. Nevertheless, he said he would try to get to our car today. Jimmy called us at 2:15 to tell us the car was fixed. The screw had backed itself out and just needed to be tightened up. Easy fix. We picked up the car about 30 minutes later. The bumper seemed good and Jimmy came in under the estimate, which was very much appreciated. We wanted to have Hopkins do some repair/painting of the driver's side door of one of our other cars, but Jimmy informed us that they are not an auto body shop. However, overall we are very happy and thank Jimmy and Jamie.

View on GoogleMy car broke down on the side of the road three hours from home. Jimmy and his crew were amazing! After the tow truck and I showed up 10 minutes before closing, Jimmy’s sister offered to drive me to a car rental place. When that place was closed, she drove me to the Boise airport! This level of service and human decency was truly appreciated. If I lived closer to Caldwell, I would use Jimmy and his crew for all my car needs!
