View on GoogleThe car was brought into Shottenkirk three times for leaking oil. First time I was charged for an oil change and they did nothing else other than mock me for it being low (despite my communication that it just had an oil change). Second time they completed extensive work on the power train warranty after telling me they found the leak. The third time they completed even more extensive work on the extended warranty, after telling me once again they “found the leak.” They were extremely rude to me throughout the process and the shop manager, Scott, said “why would I refund you for the initial oil change, what does that do for me?” After discussing that they should have done the oil change with the work they missed the first time and it would have been included in the warranty rather than paid by me, which he agreed with. When explaining the frustration with this process I was told by Scott that I needed to “just be happy it was fixed.” To no one’s surprise, it was not fixed and continued to leak oil. I brought it to a different Chevy dealership shop and the fix was a replacement for the oil plug that was stripped. A $10.50 fix. Shottenkirk consistently chose the most expensive option for “repair” so they could make money. All three times they drained the oil they could have seen it was leaking from the plug, but they didn’t and proceeded to pretend to find leaks in larger areas so they could do more lucrative work. I gave them one star because I couldn’t give them zero.
