Extremely disappointed with the lack of honesty and transparency at this shop. ​They initially provided a quote without performing a thorough inspection. Only after they had my vehicle in the shop did they call to claim there was an additional issue. They alleged it was "already broken" but that they somehow "couldn't see it" during the initial check, conveniently tacking another amount to the bill. ​ To make matters worse, the technician explicitly told me the vehicle was "unsafe to drive" until this new part arrived. However, the moment I called them out on forcing me to pay for an oversight they completely missed, the technician and the manager instantly changed their tune. They told me, "If you don't want to pay for the part, you can just take your car." It is deeply alarming that a shop would use a severe safety warning as a high-pressure sales tactic, only to immediately retract it and tell a customer to drive an "unsafe" vehicle away the second they get pushed on their numbers. ​ When I came to pick up my vehicle, the dishonesty continued. They claimed to provide a "discount," but a quick look at the math revealed they had simply inflated the base price of an item to make the final total look like a favor on paper. They knew exactly what they were doing. ​ This shop proved themselves to be completely untrustworthy. If you value honesty, clear communication, and straightforward pricing, look elsewhere.

I've been taking my cars there for 3 years now. Very good workmanship on the vehicles. They let you know if they found something that needs fixed, but they don't just come up with more stuff to charge you more. Their prices are great too.

Asked for them to get me an alignment as I was having issues with my car leaning to one side. They added tires, all new tie rods and didnt do the alignment properly. Ontop of this I had asked them to look into an issue where at high speed (what ended up being my brake caliper) would stick and cause noise. They didnt look into or fix that issue. Taking my car to another shop they charged $293 to look at and fix my issue that this Car-X who charged me close to $2000 didnt fix. But I guess its cool cause now my tie rods are new.

My wife took our Toyota Camry hybrid car into car x in Waukee Iowa and they basically told her she needed a fuel system cleaning on her car and she said ok not knowing that could be done at home it’s a two step process to do. But felt like she needed to do it so $150+ later she was bullied into getting something done that did not need to get done on this car. Also it’s a closed fuel injection system. Now they are saying that she said it was ok to do it. But they didn’t give her the option not to do it. So they bullied her into doing this work. I called talked to the manager they said they would give us some token credit if she comes back. I will never take a car here again and I recommend taking your car somewhere else where they are more honest. They don’t care about you at all just your money and how much they can make

Great service. I had 4 new tires put on. They got me in same day i called and in and out in 30 min. A+++
