Stephens Automotive Service and Sales

I don’t write reviews ever, but it felt necessary here! I hit a road hazard and blew 2 of my tires. I got them replaced and then took it to a shop to get my car aligned, thinking the tires were the only thing needing fixed. That shop gave me the alignment printout and it very clearly had several numbers in the red, however, the employee informed me it was minor and nothing to worry about and my car was good. I ended up taking my car to a second shop for another opinion but that opinion also didn’t feel thorough. I then decided to try Stephens and I couldn’t be happier that I did. They made me feel comfortable from the very first phone call - asking very specific questions about my car that the other shops didn’t ask. They got me in right away to inspect my car and called me back same day to go over results and were honest about what the other shops had missed and misinformed me of. They were able to get parts and started on it that same day and were very communicative and transparent throughout the process. They gave me an estimate when they first looked at and it was pretty spot on with my total cost in the end. I truly appreciate the way they took me seriously as someone who knows nothing about vehicles and was weary due to the other 2 shops I tried first. After driving my car a few days now after Stephens fixed it, you’d never know there was an issue to begin with and I have so much peace of mind knowing my car is safe. Stephens will continue to have my business!

I could not be HAPPIER with my experience with Stephen’s Automotive!! I was a first time customer in need of same day service. I called around to see who could get me in and out same day since I’m preparing for a funeral but my car had some immediate repair needs. The representative I spoke with was happy to help, explained the possible pricing depending how long it took to repair and was very courteous and knowledgeable to answer all my questions. Since I had to drop it off and did not have a ride home I was able to use their loaner vehicle since I have full coverage insurance and drivers license. My car was ready for pick up sooner than I expected and not only did they do a great job fixing my car, it was priced great and I think they sprayed a nice fragrance which was very pleasant when I got back behind the wheel again. My car is no longer shaking/vibrating and runs smoother than ever. I would highly recommend their service and they’ve won a new loyal customer due to their customer service and care! Thank you so much! This is truly a blessing especially going through a difficult time and the stress of car trouble on top of that. It’s people like you who make the world a better place and safer for everyone on the roads.

I had a great experience with Stephens Automotive. I had originally tried calling my usual automotive care service center and accidentally rang Stephens instead. I was greeted with excellent customer service and an eagerness for my business. I apologized and said I would call back if I couldn’t get into my usual place. When I called the intended place I was treated rudely and decided to switch and give Stephens a try. I am glad I did! They did quality work on my front end suspension for a fair price. It feels great to feel safe on the road again!

I just bought a car from Stephens and it was a completely positive experience. Jeff was responsive and let me take the car to my mechanic. We talked honestly about some service it would need and how to either work that into the price or get a discount on it. Now I have a very nice car that is dependable and affordable. Thank you Jeff! Great service ! They take the time to explain the required repair and care about the quality of their work. I have tried more automotive service centers than I can remember and Stephens is definitely the best place I found in the the Des Moines area. I highly recommend them.
