Definite go-to for classic Euro cars. I would be hard pressed to take anything I care about anywhere else. They’re almost certainly the only shop in the state that was capable of getting my Bosch K-Jet CIS Mercedes back on the road, and especially because of how much I’ve come to love the car since, I’m eternally grateful. As a longtime collector and an impulse buyer of some pretty unique cars with some pretty unique problems, I’ve had some interesting experiences with shops over the years. Joerg, David and Kyle not only seem to tolerate my on-the-spectrum eccentricities (at least to my face), they seem to genuinely care about the cars, and that’s about as rare as it gets these days.

Had my Jaguar xjr in for a rear suspension replacement. The guys did a great job!! You can bet I am going to have them do some work on the front suspension. I love my Jaguar so much. And they do too. They understand that it’s important to keep the old equipment going. This is the shop to go to for mechanics that really love the cars. I know that I saved at least 2k on an apples to apples comparison with the other two import shops, and at Hickman Auto they are actually pretty darn kind to the customer, unlike some other import shops. Can’t say enough good things about them. Try em out and be prepared to be pleasantly impressed.

Had issues with my truck, called for other place’s within the vicinity for diagnostic opening ASAP and they’re booked for 3-6 weeks. This was the only place that was took a look at it the same day. It was a quick diagnostic, somewhat easy fix I can do myself and he didn’t charge me a thing. The gentleman was really friendly and seemed like he knew his stuff. Definitely coming back here from now on

I’m so happy I found Hickman Auto. There have been a few times that I’ve brought my car in after some concerning noises and they’ve taken care of me either finding the best solution or being honest and telling me that they’re minor fixes. I never feel like I’m being ripped off and they always do a great job of explaining things to me.
