Harger Automotive is the absolute best for Honda and Acura owners. Tom Harger has always been very professional and knowledgeable. The prices are much more reasonable than the dealer as well. It’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, so I really appreciate Tom! I just wish he worked on boats too!!!!!
View on GoogleTom Harger is the most honest and reliable mechanic I have ever worked with. He has worked on my husband's Acura and my Honda now for years. I cannot recommend his services highly enough. Do yourself a favor and buy an Acura or Honda so Tom can be your mechanic!
View on GoogleAlways satisfied with the work done by Harger automotive on my 2006 Accord. A starter and AC compressor have been replaced over the few years I've taken my car there. They were done at a fair price and are working great! I take my car in for oil changes too.
View on GoogleI was referred to Tom in 2011 after purchasing my first Honda. I am now on my second Honda (thanks to the Derecho) and he has always been honest, respectful, and knowledgeable. I currently live 2 hours away and still drive back to Des Moines for any needs. His services are affordable and he does honest work. I do not trust anyone else with my car

I’ve probably had Tom service over a dozen different cars of mine that my wife and daughters and I drive and they just keep going and going. This is ranging from brand new cars to 200k mileage cars too. He knows Hondas better than anyone in Des Moines. He’s not the new mechanic just rotated in at the dealership, he’s the guy that does what is needed and does it right. Allan Pauley
