Jiffy Lube Oil Change

Excellent² .. service. Elijah and his team were so thorough that while cleaning my cabin filters - they removed remenances of what look like a "critters gnawing our air-filters", and clogging our air-conditioning vents. Hence, the odd but familiar odor in our Honda Accord!! THANK YOU JIFFY'S ALIJAH TEAM-CLIVE, IOWA!! WE & MANY WILL BE BACK!

My husband was trying to help out his father and disabled mother as a Father's Day gift, so he went to this Jiffy Lube. He had never been to a Jiffy Lube before. Only done oil changes at shops and on his own. He pulled up to the facility and heard the bells notifying the staff that he had driven up. There were no other vehicles leaving, in line, or present inside the shop. The attendant was sitting down, turned away, on their phone. The attendant briefly turned around, appearing to look at my husband, then turned back to their phone. So, my husband looked around for signs regarding what to do. He saw a sign that said to drive up. He thought this was strange, but looked inside to make sure the area and the pit was clear. So he pulled forward. After the vehicle was *all the way inside the shop* people from within the shop ran out and started screaming curse words and verbal attacks directed at my husband as a person, not at the situation. I can't even write what they said because it would be against Google's terms of service to repeat these things. And after he was already all the way in the shop and these other people were yelling at him, THEN the attendant stood up, started yelling the same things at my husband, and yelled at my husband to leave. Even after my husband immediately backed out, another worker in the parking lot followed his car just to curse him out through his window one last time after the situation had already passed. My husband recognized that he made a mistake, but with the bell inside the shop dinging several times, the attendant looking at him and then looking back at their phone, and the sign indicating to drive up, it wasn't clear to a new customer in the moment that this wasn't what was supposed to be done. We both understand the workers getting frustrated with him, even yelling at the urgent situation. But cursing him out? Verbal attacks about his character? That's unacceptable. It's also unprofessional for a worker *responsible for the safety of their coworkers* to be sitting down on their phone, ignoring bells, and looking away as a customer pulls up. The cursing my husband received (on Father's day, when he was trying to help his disabled parents on his day off between caring for his infant at home) is detestable. There was a more professional way to urgently inform him he had made a mistake - even if yelling is needed - that doesn't involve verbal assault. If this is how they treat their customers, and if this is their level of professionalism as employees, I honestly wouldn't want them touching any of our cars. We understand that pulling into a bay without an attendant is a safety concern, and we apologize for the mistake. However, Management needs to instruct their attendants to communicate with people when they pull up instead of just scrolling their phones. And please communicate when mistakes are made instead of cursing someone out/verbally attacking that person's chatacter, much less following them afterwards to curse them out AGAIN after the situation had already passed!

The entire staff was very friendly. Very efficient and quick. Showed me a couple of things on the menu of my car I don’t know how to find. Great experience. Would def recommend.

I've never been to a place like this before. Normally I get my oil changed at the small mechanic where I live. But I was in the area and really needed my oil changed. Every employee I interacted with was very kind. It was a crazy fast experience. When I got there, there were two vehicles being worked on already in the bays. I was here for a total of maybe 30 minutes??? Maybe?? The waiting room was clean, there was a mini fridge with complementary water available. The girl who brought me inside showed me where the restrooms were. I didn't use them so I'm not for sure on the cleanliness of them. I have a feeling it would've been good though. There was a sign for wifi in the waiting area. I paid like $150 total. Got an oil change with full synthetic and got a filter replaced. I believe they topped off my windshield fluid but not for sure without checking my receipt. I've never paid over $100 for an oil change before. But I came here knowing it would be on the expensive side, so it wasn't a surprise. But hey, I was here for like a total of 30 minutes, had access to bathrooms, water and wifi if I wanted. So I'm not going to complain. It was nice not having to drop my vehicle off at a shop with an appointment time, walk home, and come back later in the day for my car.
