Heritage Volkswagen Service Department

I wouldn't take your VW here. The last time I came here i had to drive back because they forgot to hook something up and my check engine light came on. They also failed to top off my fluids so when I was in the North Carolina mountains, my coolant low light came on. Ended up paying $35 for some VW Coolant to only use 2 cups of it. Also I have had an open recall for my ECU and they just never look at it. Poor Service.

Not a good experience, lack of communication and concern. They do not do what they say they are going to do. Service advisor stated they ran tests and connected everything back correctly and that was not the case! Who doesn’t look over their work before returning a car back to customer? My check engine light kept coming on, so I Had to return multiple times after having car serviced and on 1 occasion they were too busy or the tech wasn’t there after being told I could bring my car. I had to make 4 trips (35-40 mins one way) to get something taken care of that should have been done right the 1st time!

I have been a customer here for a while and up until today they have given a five star performance. Upon arrival at 8am I told the rep that even if I had to pay for it that I wanted the truck to be cleaned inside and out. At that time he said it would be an hour. I knew the service overall would be longer so I had already brought my laptop to work while I waited and boy did I wait….the vehicle had a recall so I knew it would be a minute. Long story short, he quoted me 360 In repairs but the bill was only 178 with no explanation on the difference. My baby was washed on the outside but my seven year old could have done a better job. No cleaning or vacuuming inside at all. Ten minutes into the ride my check tire pressure light came on. I’m disgusted. This is the first time I drove out of the service department without feeling like my SUV was brand new.

As a new Volkswagen owner, Mike did an amazing job of setting customer expectations for the service and repairs needed for my vehicle. Although I was not able to receive a loaner vehicle for my service, I was able to receive my vehicle later in the day without a need for a return visit. I greatly appreciate the patience Mike displayed when answering my various questions and concerns, and for providing great communication throughout my service. I look forward to working with Mike and the Volkswagen Service Department in the future.

I was highly disappointed with the customer service I received. I came in for some recalls on a car I had purchased used elewhere, and Derrick, my service consultant certainly treated me like I was getting a free service. When I asked about taking the previous owner out of the infotainment center, he completely dismissed me and didn't even look into me. When I called to check on the status of my car, he couldn't remember me. The other staff was nice, and I appreciated getting a loaner car as my service took 2 days. However, when I picked up my car, I was rushed out, Derrick didn't even see me, and I had several questions but was just brushed aside. My car even had a message popping up, saying I needed service soon, which was one of my questions, and no one mentioned it or offered to set up a future appointment for it. With previous cars, I would go to a dealer for service, where I was always treated with respect, and would have returned to Heritage for future service on my vehicle had they treated me as a respected customer when I came in for manufacturer recalls. TL;DR Came in for a recall and was treated poorly, so they lost any future business from me.
