I am very pleased with the service I received at AutoCool Atlanta! They were honest, communicative and far and away the most knowledgeable people in the business of automotive heating & cooling. I drove 1.30hrs one way to bring my vehicle to them and absolutely did not regret it. My truck is finally cooling properly after months of trying with other mechanics. I highly recommend AutoCool!
View on GoogleI have used AutoCool in the past with great results, however, the first come / first serve model is challenging. I dropped the car off on a Thursday night as they recommended in hopes to improve my chances of having it looked at on Friday. I called for updates only to get " Hope to get it in soon" . I don't think the car even made it into the service bay on Friday. I left the car there hoping Monday would be better. I called Monday and the car was still waiting with no estimated start time. At that point I picked the car up and took it elsewhere. AutoCool must still do good work evidenced by the number of cars waiting in the parking lot but I needed a little more transparency about status versus just saying "Soon"
View on GoogleI had a very disappointing experience with this shop. My vehicle’s condenser is under warranty, yet the shop refused to honor the warranty unless I paid for additional repairs they claimed were necessary. This felt like a clear bait-and-switch situation. They also tried to blame the issue on the intercooler, even though the intercooler and condenser are completely separate components. My concern has always been the condenser and the warranty that applies to it. The invoice even noted that the brackets were bent, yet the repair was still completed. A condenser should not “fall into a radiator” under normal conditions, which raises serious concerns about the quality of the installation. Instead of standing behind their work or honoring the warranty, they attempted to charge more money to fix something that should have been covered. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop with your vehicle.
View on GoogleWas a great experience from dropping off our BMW to picking it up after repairs. Had a little "burp" in the repair but I swear I have never seen a better response from Chad, the owner and his team to talk about it and fix any questions. If you have any issues here, these are very approachable technicians that will sincerely do their best to make it right! I love their faith and integrity.
View on GoogleI cannot recommend this shop due to their lack of transparency and inflated pricing. I was charged $400 just for an AC recharge—2.5x what other local shops charge. They then quoted me $2,600 for additional repairs. I took my car for a second opinion and had the exact same work done for under $1,000 at another shop. Be very wary of the high costs and inaccurate advice here.
