While traveling my wife had a brake issue and stopped at Tire South McDonough for an inspection and likely repair. She was quoted pads and rotors for all 4 corners and front brake caliper (both) replacement... the total estimate was over $2,000. I was suspicious of that diagnosis as I inspect the brakes regularly and calipers generally do not fail in pairs. I told her to decline the work and I would come get the car. As evidenced by the photos (I took when I got the car home), the rotors were fine and the pads had life left. A simple brake bleed/flush cured the problem... we've driven thousands of miles since then. I won't be back to Tire South McDonough and certainly don't recommend them. Reply to the owner's response... I took the photos... there were no photos included (none provided anyway) in your inspection. The repairs you quoted cannot be supported, clearly or otherwise and a simple brake fluid flush did in fact resolve the issue as evidenced by the thousands of issue free miles driven since the brake fluid was flushed. There were no seized brake calipers and the rotors pictured show normal wear, no gouging and all within spec. I'm left with the opinion that you're trying to cover up your ethical shortcoming with a public display of incompetence (claiming the photos I posted justify your quote). 5/11 Update... I spoke with the woman who responds to the reviews last week. I explained the situation again and she said they would send over their inspection report and management would give me a call. None of that happened. What did happen was Tire South changed their response to my review yet again. The bottom line is Tire South tried to sell us thousands in unnecessary work and their word salad response to this review has done nothing to change my opinion. Should Tire South actually do anything meaningful to resolve this issue I will post a follow up. 5/13 Update The manager called. We went over the situation. He agreed that it was not handed correctly and there was probably not a seized caliper (or calipers) but still claimed the rotors look gouged and should be replaced along with the pads. (The rotors are still in spec and show no abnormal wear, same for the pads.) Not being local there was not much he could do for me, but the call and apology are appreciated.

I had a great experience at this location! I was mainly helped by David, but I was also helped by Bella and Jeff who were fantastic as well. I ended getting new front brakes, new wheels & tires, a 2" lift on the front and running boards. The entire experience was incredibly seamless. David was able to get me good deals on everything, so I didn't have to spend more than what was needed on my truck, which I greatly appreciated! There was excellent communication, follow-thru and top-notch customer service! The technicians who worked on my truck did an awesome & impressive job. I highly recommend this TireSouth; they'll take care of you and the work is quality. Nothing but good things to say about this team, and I'll definitely be returning to them in the future for my vehicle needs.

I visited Tire South in McDonoughGeorgia yesterday morning to get a high speed balance on all four tires and re mounted . The Service is amazing fast, quick, correct every bit of 20 minutes in and out. Best Tire shop I ever been in. I was told they recently remodeled and with the complementary coffee. I didn’t even have time to finish my cup. My tech was Abel he did a great job!!!!

Excellent service at Tire South! The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and had me back on the road in no time. They were honest about what my vehicle needed, answered all of my questions, and made the entire experience easy and stress-free. It’s hard to find customer service like this these days. I highly recommend Tire South and will definitely be returning for my future tire and automotive needs!

Went in for a oil change today on my Ram and man what a mess they left. Oil dripping everywhere and it dripped on my drive way. Also from driving it home it flew of and got all over the frame. I think managers need to look over after mechanics are done with service. This is my second time having issues with Tire South first time with the Jonesboro Location now with the McDonough location.
