Crazy Nae's Jeep Wave and Automotive Repair

My Jeep went in for a transmission failure. What followed was over a year of delays and excuses. For months, I was repeatedly told the repair was “almost done,” only for there always to be another reason it wasn’t: parts delayed, the wrong or defective part sent, supply issues, or staff turnover. About five months in, I was allowed to take the Jeep home for a single night. The check engine light immediately came on, and I was then told it actually needed another transmission. The cycle of delays and alleged supply shortages started all over again. After more than a year since initially dropping the Jeep off, I finally took it home. Eight months later, I started having shifting issues, I had a different mechanic inspect it. That’s when I learned something completely unacceptable: the front driveshaft was never reinstalled. This means my Jeep has been incapable of 4WD since the work was done. This is not a minor oversight; it’s a fundamental drivetrain component. See photos. To correct their mistake, I’m now facing an additional $800 repair. Between the original transmission failure, a year of delays and shifting explanations, and discovering months later that a critical part was never put back on, I have zero confidence in the workmanship or quality control here. I would strongly caution anyone considering this shop to look elsewhere or thoroughly verify all work before accepting their vehicle back.

All these bad reviews are 100% correct. I had my son's jeep at his old place in Canton. He had my jeep for 4 months because he said it needed a new engine. He gave me excuses every week why it wasn't done. Parked in the back so long a bird built a birds nest. No shit a birds nest. I dont even think he put the new engine in the jeep to be honest with you. Do NOT take you Jeep to this guy. Con artist and you know what I'm talking about so no need to respond.

After taking my car to two different places - one being Paulding Jeep - we found Crazy Nae’s. They were great! Worked on it quickly and for a very reasonable price. Even found an issue that the dealer “fixed” only 6 months ago. Will go here from now on.

Owning a Jeep when I’m not necessarily a mechanic (I don’t even like working on cars) is not an ideal scenario. And let’s face it, a Jeep tends to always need something fixed, or you are gonna want to add personal touches that require some expertise. Finding a dependable mechanic, particularly one you can trust, is no easy task. But my experience with Crazy Nae’s Jeep Wave took the pain out of that side of things. The fact that they specialize in Jeeps, as their name would suggest, was a bonus. Rob, the owner, is a strait shooting and no nonsense guy. He took the time to listen to my thoughts and concerns. Then he gave several options that fit my style and budget. He also gave me ideas for modifications to consider down the road. I had a new top installed, brakes, suspension work, and other random maintenance tasks. Everything met my expectations. Oh, and the job was completed on time. A+ service. I’ll be back.
