Went in to get my tires rotated and balanced, I didn't purchase the tire here so I guess that's why I was quoted $75 to do so. Service rep comes back and says I have some bad news for you. You need four new tires, the only good one is the front passenger side tire. Wait never been rotated there is clearly more tread on the back than the front hmmm. Smh after saying they could not rotate my tires because of store policy I asked for my vehicle back. The tech who did the inspection brought my truck out and I asked him about my tires he told me my rear tires were fine the front where a little low but he only does what he is told. Instead of bringing me a $1400 dollar estimate for new tires how about showing me what you see so I don't feel like it's a money grab.

My husband went to get our truck serviced for an alignment and we were refused service for what seems to be the 3rd time. The first time they said they couldn’t do it because of a laundry list of repairs which they wanted to charge us around $1,400 for. We went to our personal mechanic who charged significantly less. Went back and they turned us away AGAIN saying the truck needed clamps. Their charge was over $500. Our mechanic found the part and did the labor for half that. Went back the other day and they tried to say our mechanic put the clamps incorrectly, which was a lie. This is not the first time they have turned us away for an alignment stating that multiple other repairs needed to be done first. My husband said he also overheard a woman who came in for tires and they told her she needed some other repairs before they could give her tires. Seems to be some crooks up there trying to upcharge people for additional repairs. They don’t have to worry about us coming back. Will happily take our money somewhere else, especially since they keep turning us away anyway.

Took my 2011 gmc 2500 truck in for an alignment after a bds lift kit was installed by another shop.I asked the service writer if they were capable of doing the alignment and he said yes.after waiting 3 hours I was told that the previous shop installed the rear blocks wrong. I asked how much would it be to fix the issue and he said an hour labor but it would have to be another day. Brought the truck back in and then was quoted 756.44.when I told him what he quoted me last time he said that they reevaluate it and said that they might have to drop the rear end and realign it.they took 3 hours just looking at it and said to bring it back again. Got a invoice for 557.85 and was told to pay 250.00.Took back to the jonesboro location with an appointment and waited an hour and 15 minutes without them touching my truck.It was 4:05 and they close at 6:00.At this point I knew that they would not finish the job. I left and will never go back. I just lost the money that I paid them.I will find a more experienced shop to deal with. Would not recommend tire south jonesboro ga.

We travel across the US and Canada for a living. This has been absolutely the worst experience with an auto shop. I had new tires installed a few days before I brought my vehicle in for an alignment. (The shop that did the tires system was down and told me to book an alignment at another local shop). I arrived at 9 AM to drop my vehicle off for my frontend Alignment. Four hours later they called me back with a list totalling around $4000 in repairs. I asked them please just do the alignment as requested. 30 minutes later they called me back and told me they can’t do the alignment because of a steering box issue. I told them I would pick my vehicle up. I made another appointment up the street at a different shop the next day. They told me the steering box was fine, but it needed a new tie rod before they can do the alignment, I asked them to check on the other items that Tire South has pointed out and all of the other items checked OK. My guess is the mechanics are working on some kind of commission? These are the kinds of shops that need to be on undercover camera news shows. The shop up the street total was $525 alignment and tie rod, 3 hours in and out. Being a full-time traveler, I know never to take the first estimate, Always get a second set of eyes and a second quote. Imagine all of the people that believe they need to do all this extra work when they take their vehicle in for a simple item

First time going here for a slow leak. The customer service was great, she told me 45 minutes and I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Everything was well organized and professional. And the cost of repair was very reasonable. I won't be going back to that circus at Wal-Mart tire service! 2 hour wait time...
