I was referred to this auto shop by someone I met while changing my oil, and let me tell you—the recommendation did not disappoint. Chris at Brackett Auto was fantastic. Before taking my car to him, I had already visited two different auto shops for the same A/C problem, with little to no resolution. I ended up spending a lot of money on temporary fixes that never addressed the root cause. Chris, on the other hand, took the time to explain all the possible reasons my A/C wasn't working before he even began testing it. He made sure I fully understood what needed to be done and what the cost would be before moving forward with any repairs. It's been a few weeks since the repair, and my A/C is still working perfectly. On top of that, his pricing was very fair. Shops not pretty at all but the fact of the matter is that these guys no what they are doing. Chris is the mechanic I brought my car in to for ac service. Car was blowing straight up hot air. He gave me a rundown of what he was going to do, gave me a reasonable quote and 30 minutes later I was blowing snow balls. I give five stars because he was straight forward and knowledgeable and took care of the problem quickly.
