Mr. Angelo thank you, Honest mechanic, I was task with finding another mechanic that will replace a oil pan on a 2004 Ford E250. My long time mechanic wife is having a baby. Plus it’s a job that they do not service. So I google, "Conyers local mechanics" and place calls to see who provides this service. After talking to five shops. I decided to visit three of the shops to meet their managers and mechanics. During my introduction to Gibbs Automotive, the service manager Mr. Angelo is a true professional. I’m prior Military and law enforcement. I'm not easy to please, plus so many mechanic are criminals. This van is my work vehicle and how I provide for my family. So I didn't have time to play, I needed the job to be done right the first time. Mr. Anglo took the time to explain the work procedure and gave me other suggestions that my resolve my problem and less expensive. The original repair was approximately $2000. But the honesty of this shop, Gibbs mechanics discovered that the oil pan only need a new drain bolt. So a Oil change, filter and bolt was under $70. Awesome! If I could, they would get 10 stars. Let me tell you the story of one early Friday morning. We were driving 3 1/2 hours from Augusta, GA, to Emory Hospital in Atlanta for an outpatient procedure for my wife. 2-miles from Gibbs Automotive, our car broke down. AAA hauled us to Gibbs. I called an Uber to get my wife to Emory just in time. Gibbs told me they were already slammed for the day and would not get to until Monday. They did do a quick assessment and based on what they saw, said it might take the distributor a day or two to get in parts, a day for them to fix it, so I should anticipate getting my Jeep back in 6-7 days. OK, that happens. I told them I understood. Nearing time to pick up my wife, I called an Uber, we picked her up and were heading to the airport to get the rental. Yes, the airport. There was a World Cup match in Atlanta, and almost all rentals were already accounted for. This is where the story becomes amazing. Halfway to the airport, about 3 PM, I got a call from Gibbs Automotive. “Mr. Freeman, we have good news. Your Jeep will be ready about 4:00 PM.” “What?” I replied. “Yes, I told the owner about your situation; your wife having surgery and your living 3 1/2 hours away. He moved your Jeep to the front of the shop, had the mechanics assess everything, then went to the distributor himself. Leveraging his relationships, they hot-shotted the parts in. We're working on it now. It should be ready about 4:00.” The Uber driver, after explaining the situation, amazingly canceled the ride, turned around, and did not charge us to go back to Gibbs Automotive. I tipped him well. Here it is a month later, and the Jeep is running magnificently. I cannot express enough my gratitude for their kindness and going out of their way in such an extraordinary manner. Thank you, Gibbs.

Gibbs was recommended by a friend and they lived up to the recommendation. My service was a labor intensive replacement of the heater core on a 2000 Chevy Silverado. They recommended replacement of the evaporator coil as well to save me money on a future repair. I appreciate their concern for their customers. All in all the repairs were completed in a very timely manner and I can now stay toasty warm in my truck. A special shout out to Joe for coordinating these repairs and keeping me informed along the way. In closing, I highly recommend Gibbs for all your automotive needs

Do NOT bring your vehicle here if you want to keep it. You pay for services that they do not service and deliver like diagnostic. My vechicle should have gotten diagnosed for radiator issues but instead oil leak which my vehicle was not leaking any oil. Due to the issue not addressed, vechicle ran hot after 15 minutes of leaving the shop from pickup...it blowed my engine. Plus they kept my vechicle for 4 weeks with lack of communication. Do not trust them with your vechicle.

We had an OTR Driver break down in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve, we called Gibb's and Eric immediately answered and upon giving him the information he needed, he made it to our Driver and got the Truck and Trailer back to our yard within the hour that we called. He was very considerate to make sure that the Truck and Trailer were not blocking the drive or any of our other Truck and Trailers as well. If you are ever in need, we highly recommend these guys for your Heavy Duty towing needs as if we ever are in need again in the future this is who we will be calling.
