Saved me from buying a brand new wall oven! Sent my malfunctioning control board to UpFix, and they did an incredible job. The turnaround was quick, the communication was great, and my oven works flawlessly again. Highly recommend checking them out before you spend thousands on a replacement appliance!

I do not recommend their services. Initially, I sent my ECU, which they claimed they could not communicate with. They recommended to perform a cloning service to a donor unit that would transfer my software. They assured me that the new unit would be plug and play. Consequently, I purchased and mailed another unit for cloning. Upon receiving it back, I discovered that the cloning had not been successful, as nearly every check engine light was illuminated, accompanied by a list of error codes, and several functions of the car, such as the AC and power steering, were inoperative. After several days of back-and-forth communication with them, they ultimately conceded that the cloning had indeed failed. When I requested a prepaid return label, which they were supposed to provide, the communication ceased. Two days passed without a response, prompting me to demand an answer by a specific time, yet I received nothing. As a result, I was compelled to send both units to a different company, which tested my original unit and determined that it only required a ground circuit chip replacement. I disputed the charges with my credit card company, and within an hour, I received a response stating that they could not assist me because I had disputed the charges and subsequently closed my account. They agreed to refund the service charge but none of the shipping charges because of their error not to mention I didn’t need a donor unit that I paid for and had to pay for shipping and repairs to another company.

Good job with the module repair. They did their part timely although I paid the upcharge for the 24hr service. Just wish there was an expedited shipping option like their expedited repair option. My customers vehicle had to sit in the shop for over 2 weeks waiting for the module to return because of slow shipping. I know that's not on Upfix, but that's my reason for it not being a 5 start experience

I own a nice home where the previous owners who built it chose to put in a very expensive hood over the range, hand blown glass and the whole nine yards. Anyhow, the hood lights and fan just stopped working. I busted out the volt meter and checked from the circuit breaker box all the way to the circuit board in the hood that controls all the functions and figured out there laid the problem. Nothing after that, no power. I checked online and come to find out that the circuit board was no longer made being that it’s over 15yrs old and the only ones I could find was a $800 one on EBay and a $600 one in Belarus. I was about to try and fix it myself when my buddy told me about places like UpFix that fix them. I was in a tight spot because I had 2 different groups of family coming to stay over for a few days where both groups are used to me entertaining with lots of home cooked meals. Long story shorter, I found the UpFix ad researching places to send it and the reviews along with my desperate situation expedited my send off. Unfortunately it took 5 days just to get to them with their mailing service. Once they got it though they immediately responded and kept me updated with what they were doing. They tested it, confirmed the problem, they fixed it and immediately initiated the return of the board where I ended up thankfully receiving it a whole day early. I took plenty of close up detailed pictures because of my initial thought of replacing all the circuits/ballast/etc. myself. Turns out they replaced quite a few components in the board ‘just in case’….verified by my up close detailed pics of the board. Well, I slapped it in and it works like a charm. The UpFix fee was VERY reasonable at $175 for their guaranteed work saving me substantially. UpFix saved me from smoking out my house and having me to cook for a whole week outside in the West Coast wet Winter weather. Thank you UpFix! P.S. I was going to give them 4 stars for the reason of not having overnight shipping for emergencies, but they DID/DO offer an ‘expedited’ option for free that for some reason I didn’t choose. My ignorance isn’t their fault. An over night option would be smart those of us that are in a pinch. Edit: Unfortunately, I woke up this morning…the day after installation and the circuit board working …to one that does not work any longer. I have no idea as to why this could happen. The circuit board has an inline fuse and it’s not blown…. I’m stumped….and now I’m stressed.

The TCM repair is great. Ordering the service is fast, easy and straightforward. They make it clear on their website which model parts they service and what services they provide and for which issues. Shipping the part is really easy as they provide clear instructions with the shipping label and give updates all the way until your part is received back to you. Once they received my part, it was fixed and shipped back to me within three days with an explanation as to what they fixed. They also provided a rubber backing, zip ties, and instructions on how to fixate the TCM to the firewall to prevent it from overheating again as this is a common problem with Mazda TCM’s. I also ended up paying less than expected as the price was discounted more than it was when I submitted the order and they offer an additional discount code on your first order. It did take a while to be received by UpFix due to inclement weather but their customer service did reach out to let me know it was still being delivered. After receiving my TCM back fixed and installing it to the firewall, my car was working again. Overall, their service is excellent and fairly priced.
