While the communication from the shop was excellent, I was disappointed by the markup on the parts they supplied. After comparing prices directly with Ford OEM parts, I found that some of the identical parts sold by Team Ryan were marked up by as much as 40–50%. I understand that shops need to make a profit and that their pricing may include a warranty on parts and labor if something fails. However, a markup of that size seems excessive. In my opinion, a more transparent flat-rate parts fee would be a fairer approach. Overall, the service and communication were good, but I wanted to give others a heads-up about the parts pricing so they can make an informed decision when choosing Team Ryan Auto.
