My pre 2020 mustang Ford Ecoboost has the common head gasket coolant leak issue. Craig found the problem easily . Very fair pricing, transparent repair process, and fast turn around. He sent me daily videos/pics of his progress. Highly recommend!

Used him for over 2 years thinking that I was getting good service. I decided to try a new certified Mercedes mechanic closer to my house. I asked him to give the Benz a full diagnostic and found that 3 of the repairs that Autobahn completed were still leaking. I asked my new mechanic to make the repairs AGAIN including another transmission service. What we found was instead of the gasket, he only used RTV sealant for one of the repairs. My transmission was shifting hard since I bought the car used in 2023. The transmission service with Autobahn did not fix it and he said we can use the extended watts to try and fix it which we never got to. After doing the transmission service again with my new mechanic it completely resolved the issue and the car is driving like brand new. Basically, spent over 2k dollars again bc of sub par work. I would never take my car back then and thank God, my gut instinct was to try someone new. Autobahn offers friendly service, timely repairs and he's a nice guy. However as my mechanic, trusting his work and recommending friends.. NEVER.
View on GooglePosting this from a friend’s account because I don’t really want this tied directly to my name, but people should know before bringing their car here. I brought my older Audi to Bernard and spent a little over $4,000 total. Around $2,800 of that was labor and about $1,100 was parts. Unfortunately, a lot of the work either had to be redone or fixed by another shop. I originally had him do a pre-purchase inspection, and while he did catch some codes, he missed or didn’t mention some pretty major stuff. That included codes pointing to a possible transmission issue, which obviously matters a lot when you’re deciding whether or not to buy a car. There was also a persistent misfire on cylinder 3, and there was a code for it that he either did not catch or did not tell me about. It is not on any document I can find from him. That ended up being a bad injector. The injector itself was around $200, but the labor was about another $1,000. I ended up replacing all of the injectors while I was in there, which was my choice, but the original issue was still something that should have been caught or at least disclosed. He also noticed the valve cover gasket leak, but missed the rear main seal leak, which is a huge deal because that’s a transmission-out job. The PCV was also bad, which is a very common issue on these cars and something that should have been checked. There are multiple ways to test for it, and that ended up being another roughly $1,000 repair, which I had done elsewhere. Had I known about all of this before buying the car, I would not have bought this specific car. I would have kept looking and bought a lower-mileage one at a better price. Instead, I’m now in this car way deeper than I ever would have been if the inspection had actually caught the major issues. He also did a transmission fluid change, and the transmission was underfilled afterward. On this car, that is not a simple drain-and-fill job. The fluid level has to be set correctly through a specific procedure, and it was not. That also had to be corrected by another shop. He also did the valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and steering shaft. The parts were overpriced compared to what genuine Audi parts would have cost from FCP Euro with a lifetime warranty, and the steering shaft he used was aftermarket. It also wasn’t installed correctly. After the work, the car was creaking and squeaking over bumps, and I had to take it to another shop to have it properly installed and lubricated. He also replaced my door cards, but they rattled and creaked afterward, and one was partially coming off. I brought it back and he redid it, but it still wasn’t right, so I had to pay someone else to fix that too. I don’t think he’s a bad person, but I cannot recommend him for an older German car or anything complicated. Maybe basic maintenance, oil changes, simple stuff, sure. But for anything specialist, older, complex, or German, I’d go somewhere else.
View on GoogleSpent over $600 to “fix” an AC leak. After 2 days it wasn’t working again and wanted to charge me again to fix it. He literally patched something in my car for $600 and charged me twice to get a horn and guess what. Still have not gotten the second horn. Do not recommend and will never go back here with any of my cars. Spoke to other mechanics and they all told me he charged me double the price. This place literally wack
