DEFINITELY SHOP AROUND FOR CHEAPER REPAIR PRICES BEFORE SETTLING WITH THIS COMPANY I had a very disappointing experience with this repair shop. The prices quoted for repairs were outrageously high—almost $2,000 more than what I was able to find elsewhere for the exact same work. On top of that, I was charged $400 for a diagnostic test and labor, even though I never signed any documentation authorizing repairs. The lack of communication about the status of my car was extremely frustrating. I had to follow up repeatedly just to get updates. They had my car for a full week before telling me what the problem was. To make matters worse, they claimed they had already started working on my vehicle as justification for charging me, despite the fact that I never signed off on any work. To me, this feels deceitful and unprofessional. Car repairs are already stressful, and transparency is the least a customer should expect. I would strongly caution others to compare prices and ensure everything is in writing before leaving your car here.

My friend's 2012 Camry was shimmying at 40 MPH, so we suspected a transmission problem. I took it for an estimate to Atlas, and after about a half hour, I received a printed estimate for $4026 for an overhauled transmission. Aghast, I took it down the road to Sam's and was informed a double flush of the transmission fluid should solve the problem for $350. I did that and it worked! Saved us 90+%. Sorry Atlas did not know this simple fix.

I had my 2008 Chevy Impala worked on at this shop. I also being a Mechanic, Was impressed with his integrity. when i ask about my cv axels, while he had them already out. While doing the rear seal. And ask what the price would be . He said just the price of the parts. I got estimates for the stealership. and 2 other transmission shops. both added 500.00 Dollars plus parts. like it was a separate job. So when he called me with additional parts that he said I needed to replace. it was just the price of the part no labor charge. total price was 960.00 dollars. That price was 800.00 less than 3 other places I called. This is the best place for any one to bring there car, for a fair price and quality work. Rob! McKee. 3-22-24
