I had a great experience at Poiriers Auto Service. The workers were friendly, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took the time to explain the work that needed to be done and completed everything efficiently. Their prices were fair and reasonable, especially considering the quality of the service. The work was done right the first time, and my vehicle has been running great ever since. It’s hard to find an honest and reliable auto shop these days, but Poiriers Auto Service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for good service, good prices, and quality work

I was told that my 2022 Tacoma needed its engine mounts replaced at a cost of nearly $3,000. Before approving the repair, I got second opinions from two other shops, including a Toyota dealership. Both inspected the truck and told me the engine mounts were in perfect condition. Based on those inspections, I declined the repair because it appeared to be unnecessary. The truck had 52,238 miles at the time.

Brought my vehicle for a new tire and after getting it back I noticed rim damage. They were closed so went in when they opened the very next morning. Guy at front stated multiple times “they usually tell me when they do something like this” and “I’m going to call my rim guy and make this right” then next Monday I received an email stating after reviewing the photos (that he took when I brought it back with damage) you hit a curb and were not fixing it. The damage is on the very edge of the rim and long, damage that long IF hitting a curb would also leave damage on the face of the rim. I definitely feel like the “you hit a curb” excuse was an easy way out for him because I’m a female especially after seeing it in person and stating multiple times “I’m going to make this right”…why wasn’t a curb brought up then! It’s very clear this was done by the machine so instead of making this right for probably less than $300 they would rather loose a customer that paid $317 for ONE tire they could have made it back on my next tire purchase. Definitely feel like this was only done because I am a woman I’ve been driving large duallys since I was 14 I know how to take a wide enough turn to not touch a curb.

After decades of bringing our vehicles here, we’re done. If a front desk employee hired less than a year ago is going to argue over a $60 part after years of loyal business, we’ll go elsewhere. What’s the point of loyalty if it’s not valued or reciprocated? Since the ownership change, service and accountability have declined. A window repair didn’t last a year, and the oil filter cap was overtightened to the point it had to be broken loose and replaced. Even the shop acknowledged how excessive it was. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told they wouldn’t replace the damaged part and couldn’t guarantee fixing their prior work. It’s clear customer retention is no longer a priority. We’re not trying to pull one over on anyone, but the clear lack of willingness to help is crazy to me.
