I have never really had an opinion on mechanics until I found Griffis Auto. Over the years they have gone the extra mile to ensure that mine, my husband's and our son's cars are running at tip top performance. I purchased a new car last year and when I was having issue with the dealership (that's a completely different review), they stepped in, backed me up and helped me resolve the issue. I will never use another mechanic as long as Griffis is an option for me. Their customer service is excellent, as are their prices and they really care about their customers. We even get a thank you note every time, even if it's just for an oil change. If you're looking for a new mechanic, give Griffis a go. You won't be disappointed!

Be careful before approving any repairs here. I paid for a diagnostic on my 1994 Mustang GT, and the issue turned out to be a single spark plug wire that had been burned through because it was routed incorrectly. I was quoted around $450 to replace the spark plug wires, but I decided to get a second opinion. Another local mechanic identified the same problem and replaced the damaged wire for $50 in about 30 minutes. The car has been running perfectly ever since. The staff was professional and customer service was good, but based on my experience, I would recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing major repairs.

Honest, transparent, trustworthy, kind I’ve been bringing my Equinox to Griffis for almost two years now and I just realized I’ve never written a review. Ever since walking into their shop I do not want to go anywhere else. These are truly amazing people. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars I always leave with a deeper understanding of my vehicle and I never feel taken advantage of. All of the services recommended are never pushed onto me they’re simply explained and quoted and left up to me to decide when I can complete the service. Additionally, the customer service is something you’d find in a small town not Orlando. They’re always so pleasant when you walk in and extremely accommodating (I’m okay with leaving my car until they can get to it and they ALWAYS have it ready by the time I need it). It truly is an amazing place and I’m so happy to have found a mechanic near me that I genuinely like taking my vehicle to. They don’t charge insane prices for oil changes or tire patches which I also sincerely appreciate. I will be a forever customer!

We were on vacation in Florida this past week and our alternator went bad. The owner was so kind to get us in same day and replace the alternator all in about an hour! And at a great price! Very impressed with his kindness and customer service!

I had the best experience at this shop! I came in with no appointment to get my plastic door handle installed on the exterior door, after being quoted over 300$ by another repair shop down the street. Tim was very personable and authentic, and he was able to install my handle in 5 minutes, I didn’t even get out of my car. I was overwhelmed with thankfulness when he told me what I owed him. I was so thrilled I immediately called my dad, who owns a rental car company in Pensacola, to tell him how helpful Tim was. My dad said “That’s the type of shop you keep going back to.” Thank you again Tim, your kindness speaks volumes about your shop.
