So, my car has needed a lot of work that I've procrastinated since I dont drive much. I work from home. Mostly the tires and brakes. I had my book club on Monday in Winter Park (my inner voice kept me off I-4) and on my way home at Bumby and Robinson one of my tires blew. I saw it was shredded when I pulled into the Marathon station. I then rolled accross the street to an auto repair shop that I never heard of and parked it with a note. Anyway, the lady that works at the front desk (her name is JoAnne) called me the next morning and said they needed the key since my car was blocking their entrance. I was working and ready to take an Uber to give her the key. This WONDERFUL woman came to my house to get it! What? Turns out that everything the car has needed since I had a quote from another shop 6 months ago, they confirmed. The quote was reasonable and I told them to go ahead. The main mechanic (Franky) did all the work and it was ready the next day for a reasonable price. It wasnt money I wanted to spend, but at least I know my car is safe to drive. Im so thankful to this family run shop and if you need anything done on your car, I will enthusiastically give 2 thumbs up for these folks. I will never take my car anywhere else. Brought my fiancés ford escape in for some maintenance. Frankly and Joanne were very nice and informative and got the car taken care of in a timely fashion. They even included pictures in text messages of other work that the car needed. And they gave us a fair price on everything. Highly recommend.
