ProtoTech is by far the best and most knowledgeable Porsche and exotic car custom build shop in all of South Florida. I have a Mechanical Engineering degree and am an exotic "car guy" ... The critical mechanical problems they found could only be identified and then resolved by top experts but also decades of experience. For example, I've had a voltage draw for the past 20 years and no official Porsche Service department could find it. ProtoTech found it in a couple hours and fixed it at a fraction of the cost Porsche Service would have charged. It was a faulty connection in the automatic seats, something extremely difficult to pin down. My battery now stays charged for a month when the last 20 years it only stay'ed charged for 5 to 7 days. They were getting ready to release the car to me after tuning up the Twin Turbos when they noticed a back-fire and a tiny smell under the hood. They quickly fixed the back-fire and after digging deep under the hood, they found a faulty heavy-gauge ground cable that was starting to heat up, melting the rubber coating, causing the smell. This could have been a disaster if left un-checked. But ProtoTech pro-actively identified the issue, diagnosed the issue very quickly, and replaced the faulty ground cable, again, at a tiny fraction of what Porsche Service is forced to charge. Obviously, I love Porsche Service and get my car serviced every year for the past 25-years! But when they can't fix something or just don't know how to diagnose a problem, I have to go outside of Porsche Certified realm. This is only the start of the bumper-to-bumper tune-up of my 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo, which included countless small and large fixes. Each one was identified, documented with photos by ProtoTech. Sometimes I would swing by the shop to see the issues for myself. And once approved, ProtoTech completed each round of fixes in what can only be described as "record time" ... At least from my experience of endless delays from exotic car shops. They fixed probably 25 to 30 small and a few large issues in 3 or 4 rounds of approved Scopes of Work ... All-in start-to-finish was under a month. And that included a comprehensive paint-correction and ceramic coating that absolutely looks stunning plus a major project in custom fabricating a new high-performance exhaust system that sounds incredible. In summary, ProtoTech is by far the most technically expert exotic car mechanical shop I've ever worked with and I've worked with several shops from LA to the greater NYC area. It's the TLC and attention to detail that made a lasting impression for me. Highly Recommend.

I encountered an awful experience when working with this company. The first bill from David and Stuart totaled $12,000 while they failed to deliver on their numerous promises regarding my Porsche repair. The representatives at the shop assured me they were actively working on my vehicle so I trusted their statements. Three weeks passed before I returned to check on my vehicle but they had not started any work. The representative assured me multiple times that I should not worry because they were taking good care of me despite being referred by a mutual friend. The staff refused to return my keys to me. The company refused to return my car until I paid the excessive bill amount. The car release occurred without any resolution of the problems. See attachments. I will continue to fight for justice until I achieve my goal. Avoid any business dealings with these individuals because they will leave you feeling just as unhappy as I do. The two additional people I know became victims of their scam before they discovered the truth. The business practices of this company involve illegal activities and they demand full payment from customers. The owner's son Stuart operates as the thief who steals from his father through side charges before demanding additional payments at the end of the work.

The best mechanic in south Florida hands down. No one will touch my Porsche other than them. Honest and reliable and they make the cars go fasttttttttttttttt. I’m so happy and I can’t wait to do more work with you guys thank you.

Flywheel bolts were not torqued, all bolts were loose. One bolt head broke off and cause catastrophic damage to the clutch flywheel crankshaft, take a look at the pictures below. If you're building a transmission, engine for your 911tt don't trust this shop for your engine transmission builds. Last picture will clarify what car this shop is so confused about. Please stay away! I sent my 992 911 to get tuned i was promised the world. Stew which is Dave son promised me 130 whp over stock with self sensing octane / higher boost trims and all he did was JOYRIDE my car! My car was filthy full of sand looks like they went to the beach. Seriously! Smelled like cigarettes. Ultimately they never even removed my PCM even though i was sent pictures of a pinned computer on a bench that i found out is from 2021. Had buddies say there was someone ripping my Porsche around town. Please do not take your car here ! I went on my Porsche id online and my car had a new driver guest profile that was set to privacy so i couldn’t locate my car ! I had to show up to a warehouse were Stew had my car he wouldn’t answer my calls or text he was hiding the car after the 4th day i got worried as friends and tuners told me they got a tune in less than an hour. They were joyriding my car and partying in my car! Stay Away! Tried calling Dave to make it right and get my funds back but no answer. Maybe this will make them respond !
