We had an unusual situation where we drove to Florida from Vermont to look at colleges for my son. By North Carolina we started having electrical problems. Two mechanics, three tows later and a timetable expiring, we were in desperate need of help. As our last hope, Marty and his wife took our car and worked on it for a few weeks while we returned to Vermont. He was able to diagnose significant can buss harness connection issues and, cleaned every connector and reviewed every unit on the harness. He also tested the car numerous times to ensure that the intermittent failure wouldn't return. We were prepared for a $1500+ bill, but no. He charged us well under $500 and was happy to work with us as we secured a carrier to ship our car home. Marty and his wife helped us in an unbelievable way when we were in a terrible situation. If we lived in Florida he would be "my mechanic" for his honesty, knowledge and because he earned my trust. He should be your first choice if your in the Ft Lauderdale area.

Oakland Auto Center is the best. I'm driving a 2010 Honda Odyssey Van that has no shortage of issues but this place keeps it running without costing me an arm and a leg.
