BJ’s Wholesale Club offers a warehouse shopping experience akin to Sam’s Club and Costco. It has less variety, and bulk prices aren’t always as competitive. However, gas prices are notably lower than at standard stations. The store is rarely crowded, offers ample parking, and is the only warehouse club option in Homestead, FL.
View on GoogleAsked the man in the meat department if there was any more pork butt he didn’t understand what I was saying. Then said no only what there. Then, I asked if he could pls call someone to for the vegetables bc I needed Cole slaw mix and he said no. I said you can’t even call someone to help me. He said no, I do chicken. Then when I walked away he yelled to me I only one person. Horrible customer service. I asked the guy that was down the aisle packing to go orders. He was so nice, stopped what he was doing and went to check for me. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any but I was thankful he checked. This is not my first time having a problem with the meat department. They are rude. The guy that works at the gas station is very helpful and sweet also. Not to mention the women at the door. I think I’m going to Costco for my meat from now on.
View on GoogleJulio was the service technician that helped me to pick all 4 new tires. He was kind, patient, and explained the differences in all my options. I was able to save money by using my BJ’s rewards on my credit card and I also benefited from the tire sale that they had ongoing, buy 3 tires and get one free. It was the best sale on the market. Thank you Julio for being nice and reliable. It’s people like you that make a difference in the world that we live in.
View on GoogleShortly after purchasing a new set of tires (2 months and $870 later) we started losing pressure in two tires. We returned for repair at 9:00 am on a Saturday and they only had 1 technician working. 2 hour wait time and they wouldn't even talk to us until we provided the receipt for our purchase (you'd assume that BJs would have a record of all member purchases anyway). Understaffed, poor follow up service. When they did look at the tires they said there was nothing wrong, but added air. 4 months later, after adding air to our tires weekly at gas stations, we returned with the same issue. Again, the same response, nothing wrong. 4 months later, again, we returned on a Monday. They open at 9:00, we arrived at 8:30, first customers of the day. The attendants arrived at 9:05 and said they couldn't help us without an appointment and they said it would talked 30 minutes to an hour to build up air pressure in their compressor and set up the shop (so they really don't open until 10:00). We wouldn't have come back but for the "lifetime" warranty to fix flats, which they DO NOT HONOR. Absolutely horrible service.
