Rubens Tires

I was very upset with the team the last time I took my car there. They offer a warranty on the alignment, but forget about that if you need to do a preventive check at the end of the two months they give as a “warranty,” because they will find some reason to charge you again. I had aligned my truck in March, and I was planning to replace the tires shortly after that and do an alignment check just to make sure everything was still good. After one month and 26 days, which was less than the two months of warranty they offer, I bought the tires I wanted online, took them to a friend of mine to install and balance, and then I went to Rúben Tires so they could check the alignment. According to them, I had to pay for the service again because I did not replace the tires with them. I would completely understand if I had done any suspension work on my truck, any steering work, or anything else that would require moving the alignment adjustments. But the fact that I did not do any of that, and only replaced the tires, does not justify the excuse that the warranty is no longer valid. I would also understand if the tires were a completely different size, but that was not the case, because I installed tires with the exact same original dimensions. An alignment adjusts the angles of the metal components, such as control arms, ball joints, and tie rods. The tire is only a rubber piece mounted on that structure. Replacing it does not move the suspension adjustment bolts. Alignment machines use the wheel, rim, or hub as the geometric reference. The tire does not change the position of the axle where the wheel is mounted. Because of this situation, I started wondering if they would act the same way with other services too. I have done this type of procedure before at other shops that also offer warranties, and I was never charged again just because I replaced my car’s tires with others of the same size. They always honored the warranty they offered. I started taking my cars to Rúben Tires because it was more convenient for me since it is closer to my house. But after what happened, I think I will go back to taking my cars to the shops in Orlando where I always used to go.

Very good experience!. Brought my truck here because 2 other mechanics could not find source of noise from bottom of my truck. Mechanic Govani found problem within an hour and it was a very minor repair. Also. Just brought our Range Rover in for service and had another pleasant experience. One of my clients had an over heating issue and pulled into one of the two shops. They lied and told him he needed to replace the radiator as well as the thermostat and quoted him 1300$ for the repair. They told him the radiator alone was 8 hours labor. ALLDATA says 2.5 hours. If you know the job as well as me its only about an hour max. I went to his house diag the car it was only the thermostat, simple easy 150$ fix with part. SO MY ADVICE IF YOURE A CUSTOMER OF THEIRS GO GET SECOND OPINIONS. N IF YOUR NOT A CUSTOMER STAY FAR AWAY. THESE ARE THE CROOKS THAT MAKE THE INDUSTRY LOOK BAD. ONE DAY WE ALL WILL ANSWER FOR THE THINGS WE THINK WE GET AWAY WITH AND WE BE REPAID IN FULL.

They scammed my brother of $140 after he called in advanced to service his car telling him it would cost one price only to up charge him significantly more multiple times. Not the fair business you would expect. 👎 terrible
