Had a great experience with this shop. Communication was far better than I expected. I was given the mechanic’s direct cell number and he was always responsive to calls and texts, keeping me updated and being transparent throughout the process. They diagnosed the issue quickly, ordered the necessary parts right away, and made the whole experience feel straightforward and trustworthy. This was my first time using them, but they definitely came across as an experienced and reliable shop.

We have become LOYAL customers at Scotty’s. They’ve saved us in a variety of challenging car situations (dead battery in a parking lot, fender bender repair and brake replacement), and once even made themselves available on Christmas Eve. We now do all our regular service appointments with them. They ALWAYS quote reasonable prices, and have completed excellent work, both mechanically and body work. At the dealership for my foreign luxury car, I felt taken advantage of when I needed brakes replaced, and Scotty’s did the work for half the dealership’s quote. They are a good, honest team who have thorough skill sets and integrity as business folks. I could not recommend them more for any car issues!

Shady, this time they have different front office staff and mechanics. Charged me premium prices to install a faulty starter that died the next day, not giving me a break, considering I had them replace it three years prior, and spending thousands over the past three years on other repairs. Then they charged me an additional $80 to replace the faulty starter with a supposedly better one. It was a fight for them not to charge me an additional mechanic fee to replace it. I wound up going to an honest mechanic to avoid getting robbed by their alternator quote, who told them they weren't careful with the starter installation, so as not to cause damage to my flywheel. To make matters worse, they did not install the starter plate cover correctly, and it hung low when I left the shop, vibrating loudly and scratching against the pavement when driving. I need to have the car put on a lift now to see their shoddy work with the plate cover. The cherry on the top is that they left me with a flat tire, which I did not have until I returned for them to replace the starter. Must have left a nail out waiting for me to roll into the spot. I asked them to check if the tire had a hole, and they tried to charge me $45 for a patch! After I told them I could get that done for $20, they inflated the tire and lied that it was fine, so I had to drive around with a flat the next day after I told them I was traveling. I should not have had this much stress and fighting at these prices. I felt they did not care about my safety driving over the Memorial Day weekend because I disagreed with the additional overpriced work. Avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately, had a negative experience with that place. I brought my car in because the fluid from somewhere was leaking into the salon. The gentleman told me that the diagnostic fee would be $150 and since they thought it was the A/C, the diagnostic price went up to $220. They determined I needed a new gasket and the total cost would be $454. We paid the fee, picked up the car, and the leak was still there just like before. We called them back, they told us to bring the car back and that they would look at it again without extra fees. I brought the car back, they were trying to charge me a diagnostic fee AGAIN in the amount of $225. Why am I asked to pay twice for the diagnostic fee? They said the A/C looked fine without leaks, why are they asking to pay $225 for the A/C diagnostics if they said it was fine? Then, they agreed to do a “visual inspection” free of charge. They told me it was the wiper fluid reservoir that’s leaking and a piece needed to be replaced, but wasn’t “a big deal”? How’s it not a big deal if it’s leaking inside of the car? Especially if I fill up the reservoir! Definitely wasted my time and money here.

hit or miss, they did amazing work with my car but dropped the ball on my truck spend almost 2k on something that wasn't fixed and had to take it to the dealership to fix. My bumper was also scuffed when i picked up the truck. Other then saying your part is covered under 1 year warranty (the oil cooler line was kinked no a defect) and talking to the tech that did the install nothing else was done to correct. now i basically have to pay double to fix it right.
