Temple City Auto Repair

Found this place on a recommendation from a friend. Took my wife's BMW after another auto shop complete had screwed up. John was amazing. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it, and my wife's car was running like new again. I was so impressed, that I brought my jeep wrangler here for repairs, brake changes, and transmission service. John is honest and very fair with charges. I have recommended John to all my friends and family.

Can't recommend Temple City Auto Repair enough! I came here through a recommendation from a friend who is really into cars, and they are my go-to repair shop (totally worth the drive from downtown). Most recently they helped me with an issue with my starter, laid out all the pricing options, and were able to expedite it before I went on a road trip for the holidays so I wasn't driving with a starter that may not start! Super appreciate their help!

Came to swap my tires back to summer from winter. Was wondering why 1 tire was taking longer than the other tires to swap. Guy comes back and tells me there's a nail in it. I inspected my tires before I came to the shop and I didnt see a nail. I get it fixed anyways. 3 months later that tire is slowly loosing air and found out they plugged the tire instead of using a patch which most tire shops dont do anymore cause it can ruin the tire. Im calling around and other tire shops dont wanna repair it cause they say its a liability. This guy ruined my nearly new tire by using a plug instead of a patch! I dont trust these guys. Won't be returning.

I have been coming here for years. I fully trust the gentleman that helps me with my vehicle. There have been times where I have requested to replace my tires and instead of jus going along with that, he explained to me that I can repair my tire. Always offers me that option and of course, leaves it up to me. Thank you for your service.

Henry and Jon are the most honest and best mechanics around. They are so careful and take excellent care of our cars. Reasonable pricing. Especially when you see the excellent craftsmanship you’re getting. When Henry does an alignment, he’s so exact your car will drive perfectly straight and the steering wheel is perfectly aligned with the steering wheel column. Every other alignment I’ve had done at other shops has left my steering wheel slightly off. Not these guys. It’s always perfect. While he’s installing tires and aligning, he takes such great care of your wheels, making sure not to leave a mark on them. I trust these guys with any high end vehicles as well as my family’s car. I always feel great sending my Mom without me because I know she’s going to be taken care of and not taken advantage of. I truly trust these guys and am so grateful to have found them.
